[OOC: Hurr. Well, it's kinda derpy, but LOLcat finally gave me something to work with. He can be kinda difficult to tap into sometimes. Also, I might be a bit slow with any replies. x3]

SG Ravage

*He sat perched atop a rock, head tilted to the side, mechanical ears perked forward, keen optics steadily observing the orange and black insect fluttering and bobbing in the air in front of him. Slowly he reached out with a paw to bat gently at the air the insect was occupying and it danced gracefully just out of his reach. Fascinated, he did it again, only to miss again and have the butterfly land on the end of his nose.

Optical lenses crossed as he stared at the end of his nose, trying to get the butterfly into focus so he could study it more more clearly. His ears flickered rapidly back and forth for a moment, wondering if this insect was the normal organic verity or if it was somehow special, like a lot of this place seemed to be.

Scanning the insect only told him that it was organic, but some humans claimed to be able to pick up radio waves with their teeth, or metal plates in their skulls... maybe some other creatures could do that too?

Well, he was bored anyway - and somewhat lost to boot... so he didn't figure he had much to lose if he attempted to comm the little bug on the end of his nose. His ears perked forward again. Sending a small data packet he waited, patiently, for a response.

Nothing.

Well, he didn't honestly expect one, but since he'd been wandering around in the woods, trying to find his way back to civilization, or another bot from his own universe at the very least, he didn't figure it'd hurt anything to give it a try.

Shame it didn't work though, he'd have liked to know what butterflies thought about...

For the 10 thousandth time in the past week or so, he couldn't help wondering if maybe his comms were down? With all those storms in the past few weeks it was possible the high electrical and magnetic charges in the air could have knocked something out.

He shuddered.

Radio silence was never fun... he hated the sound of dead air. And he'd taken up talking to himself and... anything else that happened to have a pulse that he managed to stumble across while he was out here. Most of which consisted of the local fauna, not all of which was terribly friendly if the gouge on his side was any indication. It wasn't serious at least, simply painful and annoying. Itchy.

He tried again to send a open comm, only to receive a burst of static which caused him to flinch and yelp, flailing his limbs as he fell backwards off his rock. The butterfly spooked and flew away from his sudden movements, leaving the felinoid upside-down on his shoulders, his back side still in the air, tail flopped over his face and twitching.*

Ow.
