I looked away from the abyss, but it never stopped looking at me.
IDW Drift
The opening of his optics hurt, they were taking a little too long in adjusting to the light. His body ached, Drift couldn't remember what exactly he did in order to accomplish that...he also couldn't remember when his HUD looked so green.
Groaning, he made to get up, but was stopped. He was tied down to a berth.
Did something exciting happen?
All joking aside, he really wanted to get up. Moving his head around as much as he could in the position that he was in, he looked around. The room looked like an impromptu medbay, medical tools and objects were sitting on the counters. Drift then noticed the monitor next to the berth, the wires that ran from it were connected into the medical ports in his wrist.
Ok, maybe something NOT exciting happened. Drift reached through the bond to find his mate and to ask what happened, he was startled when the other didn't respond. Perceptor was blocking his end of the bond. This wasn't right, what was going on?
