This post is so dang open that it might as well have a neon sign flashing on it
G1 Spike is sitting...once again...in his garden. This time he has the rum that his new bro Sammy gave him (love you Sam!!! Best evil twin bro ever). Unlike evil twin Sammy, Spikey isn't a happy goofy drunk. He is a sappy drunk. His phone buzzes with a new message from the prompt beings. Spike giggled when he read it.
Spike really needs his journal. He misses having a place to write. But he thinks he has his phone figured out this time...how to use it to simply save his drunken thoughts. NO ONE is going to read it this time.
::Once upon a time there was this boy who liked chocolate. And the only kind of chocolate he had ever had was just the regular old Hershey's, and he only had that kind once because the girl who gave it to him wasn't quite sure she liked him enough to give him any more chocolate yet. Then one day, the boy's best friend gave him a much better kind of chocolate. DARK chocolate. And damn it was good. It was so much better than regular old Hershey's that the boy didn't think he would ever want plain milk chocolate again. And once the boy had that dark chocolate, he couldn't get his mind off of it. He started seeing dark chocolate everywhere, and he always wanted it, all the time. But his friend liked to give his chocolate away to a lot of other guys too, and they didn't really appreciate how good the chocolate was, but his friend just kept giving it to them over and over and over again. And the friend's other friends didn't think much of the boy...just kind of saw him as a squished up chocolate mess. So the boy found some more dark chocolate, which had once been in another friend's pocket, but that friend had forgotten about how good dark chocolate was. And that dark chocolate had hazelnuts in it and tasted really different, but every bit as good, and now the boy found himself thinking about both kinds of dark chocolate, all the time, and seeing so many different flavors around him he thought he would go insane thinking about chocolate. He couldn't get his mind off of fragging dark chocolate, ever! And he couldn't find the hazelnut dark chocolate anywhere, and he was worried about it because he really liked the new flavor and wanted to make sure the new flavor was being properly appreciated. And he wished the friend who had forgotten about the chocolate in his pocket would remember again, even if it meant the boy couldn't have any more of that flavor, because he liked his friends and his chocolate to be happy.
And the boy's best friend gave him just enough dark chocolate to keep him coming back for more. And the boy was sure that thinking about chocolate all the time was going to drive him mad, but it was so good that it was worth all the pain of not having enough of it.::
Spike put down his phone and took another drink, a silly sappy grin on his face as he looked at the pretty clouds and saw shapes in them...shaped like chocolate. Really really good chocolate.
