The scenery is a shade of verdant green so pure that it seems to consume everything. Overhead, the canopy is so filled with emerald green leaves that it seems all the light in the forest below is shed from those leaves above. Even the floor of the forest is green, covered in a thick, curly green moss that teems with life. At the middle of it all

The scout was tempted to call out to Mirage, but the smaller mech looked so peaceful that he decided against it, content just to watch him for the time being - there were still Decepticons wandering about, no matter how much they seemed to be 'all for peace' nowadays, and who knew what else was lurking around in the forest....
That all changed, however, when a new prompt flashed up on his comm, followed shortly by Mirage's response. Frowning slightly, Hound sat up, waving up to the other mech, and calling out a greeting.

The noble's optics flare at the sound of another voice. Mirage had thought he was alone. Looking around, Mirage finally manages to fixate his optics upon Hound, just as the sound of the mech's voice registered.
"Hound. . .?" Mirage murmurs as he tilts his helm to the side.
Worrying the side of his lip, Mirage surely hopes that Hound hadn't heard his little confession. The last thing he needed was one of the few mechs he was on good terms with thinking he was. . .weak. . .
"What are you doing out here?" Mirage asks faintly, a sheepish smile taking his lips, trying to appear at ease. Sitting up, and fully so, Mirage crosses his legs as he continues sitting up in the tree, not quite ready to leave its embrace.

Mirage relaxes as it seems that Hound hasn't heard his response. Pressing a hand to his chest plate, Mirage gives a little sigh. To that question, Mirage looked around, and to him, there appeared enough room in that tree for two.
"I'd rather not come down, I've just woken from recharge. . . Not really feeling my pedes yet," Mirage responded before stretching his arms over his helm before yawning.

"I didn't think you were much for climbing trees, 'Raj," he chuckled, regarding the other mech fondly.

:Hound is a welcome distraction, what with all the events at the Shack, Mirage could use some fresh conversation that deviates from any of his lovers, not that he's mad, it's just. . . He needs some distance time.:
I manage. . . :Mirage replies with a smile that is almost shy, but not quite.:
Went for a walk, got tired and figured being up in a tree is better in the mud. . . :Mirage muses, trying to put on his typical noble airs, but failing with Hound there.:
