Oh look, TC is thinking again...
*He is sitting outside on the stump again* while he’s rather pleased with the size of the derpcave and it doesn’t make him feel claustrophobic , which he’s sure the design was bred from Skywarp’s seeker programming anyway, its spaciousness can’t replace the openness of the sky above him or the wind on his wings. He’s slightly restless and while he hesitates to think he actually misses the war it was something to occupy his free time…
*His HUD flashes insistently, reminding him that he’s not yet thought about the topics this place insists on and conveniently, the most recent reads ‘Fun and Games.’* He doesn’t do ‘fun’ in the way a lot of the mechs here seem to, prefers simpler things over raucous roaring parties but supposes they have to put their extra energy into something.
He’d take a book file or a vid over that… or his mate… who really seems to be the only new friend he’s managed to acquire in his time here, not that he’s presented others with many opportunities to befriend him. He supposes he really should try to make more of an effort but he has difficulty with small talk and he knows it makes him seem distant, almost intimidating. He can’t help it but social events make him feel awkward and uncomfortable, though his mate being around does seem to help with that.
Though he has managed to remake an old friend in the form of his wingmate, that was certainly a weight off his spark and far more important than cultivating new friends.
*He sweeps his wings back, stretching them and pulls a file from his subspace.* He’s always liked ‘crosswords’ and he’d managed to find some here which was a stroke of luck he was sure but he wasn’t about to complain. He’d just occupy his time until something better came along…
