Prompt: If I could turn back time

...I think the obvious answer would be for me to say that I would wish to be back to the way I was prior to my alterations. -pauses for a moment, looking down at his chestplate then hands- Perhaps..perhaps if I had been asked to answer this some time ago, I would have answered in that exact way but now..I must admit..I have grown use to this frame, what I have become.
There are certainly things I miss but I believe that what happened happened for a reason.
-drops his hands, shaking his head a bit- In the same sense, I suppose part of me would also wish to turn back time to a point before the war, to attempt to do things differently and keep the war from consuming our race and planet. But then, as I said, I believe things happen for a reason. So perhaps the war, the wars we all may be facing or may have faced at one point, are happening for some reason that we have yet to understand.
Whatever the case may be, as much as I would desire to turn back time to several different points along the timeline, it will only ever be a dream, as I have already worked quite hard to get where I am now and would not want to give that up.
