Starscream jumps back, surprised. He takes a long look at the other bot.

What the-- You resemble Blitzwing, except... crazier than I remember. Sigh Decepticons these days... between you and big-chin over there, our war effort must be really going downhill. But that will all change, now that you have a brilliant leader like myself!

"We are, and we are!" Blitzwing says with a cackle, then glances over at Lockdown, "Oh, it's a Lockdown! I wonder if he's the same one that Swindle tried to sell cookies to..."

What? You know him?

Starscream grabs Blitzwing's arm and pulls him to one side. He's trying to be secretive, but isn't subtle at all.

Tell me about him. Is he going to offline me while I recharge?

Blitzwing snerks, then his face shifts to Icy's blue, and answers, "I don't know that particular one, but if he runs like a normal Lockdown, only if someone pays him to, and he doesn't charge cheap. He's a bounty hunter."

Starscream shows some interest in Blitzwing's rotating faces, but doesn't ask. He's seen stranger. The content of Blitzwing's words are far more interesting... and confusing.

Well, I'm relieved to hear that. But keep an eye on him for me, will you?

And what do you mean, 'particular one'? 'Normal' Lockdown? There are more than one of him?

I think I'm starting to figure this out. You're not the Blitzwing I know. None of you are the Decepticons I know.

"There are quite a few of him, and of you, and of me," Blitzwing says, "This is a Nexus..a small one, as far as nexii are concerned. How much do you know about alternate realities? And, if I may...what's the Earth year in your reality?"

I don't have very much experience with alternate realities. I've experienced some time travel, though, so I suppose alternate realities aren't too much of a stretch from there.

As for the year, it's 2005, of course. Or maybe 2006. I'm not certain-- time was a little unsteady when I was a ghost for a bit, but it's definitely 2005 or 2006.

"Ah, so you've already done the ghost bit," Blitzwing says, "Confused me there, considering you were talking about Megatron." He changes back to Random's black, and cackles, "Usually it's Galvatron by then, and he's crazier then I am! AHAHAHAH!"

Galvatron, Megatron, it doesn't matter. When it gets down to it, they're the same being, and they're both fools.

And I know for a fact that there's more than one Megatron. The dinosaur was an interesting change from the original, but, as I may have mentioned, still a fool.

"Not all Megatrons are fools," Blitzwing says, "Though I don't doubt yours was, from what I've seen of your tech's reality..if they're all like that, I feel sorry for you. Mostly through Swindle's research DVD's."

So I assume your reality also has a Starscream and a Megatron or Galvatron. Is it too much to hope that my counterpart has succeeded in killing Megatron's counterpart?
Or at least come close?

"He tried, once, and almost succeeded," Blitzwing says, "Megatron survived, barely, but he managed to pull himself back together. One of the first things Megatron did was...return the favor."
