"...oh sla-er, hi Rachel!" Mia grins sheepishly from the corner she and a trio of men are sitting at.

"Mia? What are you doing... Jack?" Rachel frowns and walks toward them.

"I still don't know if we can trust that big 'bot that gave us these...I mean...she was the same size as some of the 'Cons..." Rodney frowns, poking the gizmo he's got.

"She had the same insignia as we do, Roddy...and she helped those two youngbots without questioning why they wanted someone familiar to them brought to come get them..." Jack looks over at Rachel and smiles a bit, "Well...fancy seeing you here..."

"What are you doing here?" She frowns at her friend. "And I just saw an even bigger bot in the other Nexus. What did that one give you?"

"Tryin' t' figure out how t' get home..." Alex reaches over and offers Steeljaw scritches.

"She gave us each one of these devices..." Jack offers Rachel the wristwatch-like device, "She said something about it being called a PINpoint..."

"Looks like mine." Rachel kneels and shows the one she got from the bowl under the sign. "What does the screen say on yours?"

"Coordinates...but to where is the question...Oh, how is Skylar doing? I still owe him lunch from the day he wasn't feeling too well..." Jack frowns a bit, concern for the younger man clear in his eyes.

"Those are coordinates to our temporary home," says Rachel. "Though for some reason my PINpoint brought me here first. And Skylar...." She smiles slightly. "Have you ever heard of Skyfire?"

Jack frowns a bit, "Yeah...back before the war....h e was a brilliant scholar... He and Starscream both...." Jack's expression goes from relaxed to pensive, "He was rumored to be killed when the Towers were destroyed in a terrorist attack..."

"He's on Earth now. So is a young femme named Moonshadow. They've been keeping Skylar busy."

"...Huh...well, that's a good thing then...Skylar needs friends who can see past who he was...not that we haven't been trying..."

"Yes...." Rachel sighs as she thinks of Moonshadow, her normally cheerful expression turning to a slight, worried frown. "Well, Melissa's convinced he's a hero."

"Skylar? A hero?" Mia snerks a bit, shaking her head.

Jack frowns a bit, "What happened?"

"He rescued her from a situation that terrified her." Rachel lowers her voice and outlines to Jack what happened when Skylar and Pandita had found Melissa, then adds a trifle grimly. "Do you remember the Quintesson project we disrupted?"
