A group of four G1 Style mechs enters the dressing room. One of the mechs has a chevron on his head and a white and red color scheme. One of the mechs is mostly black. A third is mostly red, and the fourth is white with green and orange accents. The mostly red mech, and the white, green, and orange mech seem quite content to explore and examine the

Rollbar looks around from where he's talking to a tan-coloured tank-former. He frowns for a second at the group entrance, then shares a look with his companion.

Then he turns to face them, adopting a breezy air and a relaxed stance. "Now why would you be looking for Desinex?"

Ratchet regards Rollbar with curiosity, noting the differences in tech, before responding, "Because she passed away recently, along with another femme, and we're trying to track down the rest of their remains."

These two are (on the outside) pretty close to the G1 aesthetic thanks to the wonders of toy-based designs, but then they're a little old-fashioned looking by their world's standards.

"Terminated?" Rollbar's optics flare a bit in surprise. "Slag."

"You Autobots must be real desperate for spare parts," Armorhide comments from beside him.

Trailbreaker nods, expression somber. Seems like someone's still beating himself up mentally...

Ratchet frowns, "It's not like that at all. They both died fighting against Megatron, and I for one would like to see that they get a proper rememberance."

Armorhide snorts, glancing at his partner as Rollbar straightens up beside him.

"Hold up a nano," says the green mech with a frown. "It sounded there like you said they were both fighting Megatron..."

Ratchet nods, and Trailbreaker speaks up, "Yeah...We were on an outing and we got ambushed by Skywarp. It was a set-up so that Megatron could get to Showtime and kill her...Desinex wasn't about to let Megatron kill her best friend...and they both died fighting..."

The black mech's expression is somber, as Ratchet continues, "Technically, Showtime was shielding Desinex from a fusion cannon blast when they both died...their frames fused together in numerous places..."

Rollbar's optics flicker, and then his expression turns grim. "Desinex was friends with an Autobot?"

Armorhide's gaze flicks between the two speakers, making a low noise that might be a growl and might be a 'hmmm'.

Perceptor chooses to speak up now, "Desinex was an Autobot. Showtime was a Decepticon before she became a Neutral...unless there's more than one Desinex, which has a high probability of being likely, considering the theory that Desinex returned with shortly before Showtime allied herself with the Autobots, in that there is more than one reality, and each one has similarities to one another, but the similarities may only be slight...for all we know, there could be a Decepticon version of the Desinex we knew..."

Ratchet must now resist the urge to facepalm at the lengthy explaination Perceptor has just given.

Rollbar blinks again, half-glancing at Armorhide to see if the tank followed that better than he did.

"Alternates," Armorhide translates for him. "That means the one you met must still be around somewhere."

Rollbar nods, his expression relaxing a little. "Still another Con down." He shakes his head and refocuses on the Autobots. "That ambush happened in here?"

Trailbreaker shakes his head and sighs, "No...back home. Hound, Showtime, Desinex and I were on a camping trip, when we got ambushed by Skywarp...Showtime and Desinex took him down quickly, and when I went to get Prime and a couple of the others, Megatron attacked...Hound couldn't get to the gals in time, because the underbrush was so thick, and by the time he got through, it was too late..."

Rollbar's mouth quirks into a smile as the two Decepticons listen. Neither is exactly gleeful, but this sounds like the natural course of things to them and it's nice, for once, to hear about things working the way they should. "I guess your Megatron's pleased, then."

Armorhide's still focused on the question he sees at hand. "If it happened there, what makes you think you'll find any leftover scrap in here?"

Ratchet's expression is a mix of sternness and a scowl. "Wouldn't surprise me if the fragger was pleased...as for the remains...Desinex said sometimes people get pulled into the Nexus at random...If there was any remanent of life in the parts that are still missing, then they could've gotten pulled here as well..."

"Remnant of life?" Rollbar blinks in surprise. "It's true the Nexus turns up funny things sometimes, but..."

Even Armorhide's looking at the medic funny. "Just what kind of parts are you missing?"

Ratchet frowns, pulling up the autopsy reports he had to write, before transferring them to a datapad. "Let's see...sparkchamber from Desinex, secondary fuel pump from Showtime...most of the missing parts are secondary parts, aside from the sparkchamber, parts of their processors, and one optic from both femmes...And a few pieces of armor and parts of their frames..."

Perceptor chimes in, "In essence, enough to make a small protoform, and have it be able to sustain a spark..."

And suddenly their suspicions make a lot more sense. Armorhide frowns. "That's awfully specific for a fusion blast. How do you know some of those components weren't just too slagged to pick out?"

Ratchet nods, "I did the autopsies myself, and Perceptor assisted. If I missed anything, it would've been found out quickly."
