*She still glances at him though she doesn't know the voice before going back to her work, shaking her head.* You've got the wrong person; I'm not who you think I am.

I know what I'm doing. *Says the person who has set everything on fire before from hair to cakes to herself. She feels kind of bad for brushing him off like that and puts her tools down.*

*He crosses his arms a little, shifting to a more relaxed stance* It's okay. I didn't mean to disturb your work.

Indeed - it would seem that I’m a little unique for the moment. I’m only partially new around here. I’m usually just rather hard to see. But I get the idea of this place. *Pauses thoughtfully* So… is there something wrong with your arm? What are you working on?

Just seeing how it works. See, I'm...this is gonna sound really weird, so bear with me. I'm usually human. But something happened in a different place kinda like this, and I got this robotic body. It'll wear off...eventually. So I want to learn as much about it as I can. Nobody ever likes the idea of me getting into their systems to see how they work.

If it helps, stranger things have happened in my world. So I can work with this. *Grins a little* But... I don't really blame anybody for not letting you get into their gears. It'd be like... letting someone you don't really know perform surgery on your internal organs. Makes a mech a little skittish.

...I'm not sure that analogy really translates for humans so much, but I can understand. Besides. I seem to have inherited a very Wheeljack trait of not all of my inventions and experimenting and poking and prodding going exactly as planned. It just gets me worked up is all, all these giant, alient, sentient robots!

Fair enough... Heh. Maybe you would have a little better luck getting someone to share schematics with you? Then you could try and build a bot or two of your own.

Well, one of the Ratchets had that idea. *She hesitates a little. He hasn't come back yet.* It's good enough, I guess...but then, this works just fine, too. Gives me something to do. And the more I understand about this body, the better I can work it, so...it's good all around.
