G1 Proto-Ratchet
Look at the G1 episode "The Secret of Omega Supreme", and in flashback sequences you'll see Omega briefly in a med bay with a white and red bot that COULD POSSIBLY BE an earlier incarnation of Ratchet. It got plot bunnies hopping in my mind.
I mean, after all, Ratchet remembers the start of the war. And, like any good cranky old man with tales to tell, he's got to have one heck of a memory for everything and anything that happened from then to now.
My own warped mind flirts with ideas like TC and Ratchet knowing each other before the war, but for those who don't want to go that route, just check out the episode and pay attention to the white and red bot that resembles E.T. For all the stories G1 Ratchet supposedly has to tell, maybe it's time some of us fans write a few of 'em...?
