6. Cross-species romances are…interesting, but generally follow the format of young(ish) female human and young-to-middling male autobot. Human is rescued/hired/otherwise introduced, and ‘true love’ ensues. What about the old mechs? They deserve love too. Or a romance at the end of life, where the human lover is old and grey, and the transformer is still young. Or generational love affairs, where the descendents of one particular human all end up involved with the same mech. Or same-sex pairings, with a human who grew up before the gay rights movement. Job related affairs, like Red Alert and some human ‘Independent Contractor’. Or just plain affairs, with the mech cheating on their partner with a human. Decepticon-human pairings, where the human is aware and frightened of their lover’s allegiance (Thundercracker and a pilot?).
7. A human from a mirrorverse ends up in the regular universe, and finds it harder to adjust to good autobots then evil decepticons. Bonus points if they never met members of either side before they crossed over.
