32 bunnies

More bunnies born from writing and school and far, far too long on various wikis.

1.[G1]If you can't explain something to a six-year old, you probably don't understand it yourself.- proverb
Hey, Perceptor…?

2.[G1]One of the bots and one of the cons wake way earlier then their other comrades, and for various reasons, can’t wake the others up without killing them (power issues?). They fight, argue, and betray each other, watch humanity evolve literally before their eyes, inadvertently shape a few cultures, come to accept their status as the only (awake) transformers on earth, meddle with path of history, become uneasy allies and then friends, watch in horror over the World Wars, contribute anonymously to various subcultures, and generally get on with their lives as they now are.

3.[G1] Most people don’t ask why minibots exist. They just do. That’s exactly what the minibots want.

4.[G1](Typo) Most people don’t ask why minibots exist. They just do. That’s exactly what the minicons want.

5.?: The problem with being a satirist in times of war, is that nothing you can come up with is more ridiculous or monstrous then what people are actually doing. Me, I got out of that business the first time an army actually launched hydrogen bombs. Thought no one could ever top that for awful. Primus, remember back then? Course you don’t, you weren’t created then. It was practically a fragging utopia compared to now. Take my advice kid- If you don’t want to kill anyone, get out of there now, and take your humans with you.
Kup tells war stories, but not every old transformer was in the war. A different sort of ‘old timer’ has some advice for the younger bots of the Ark.

6.The decepticons aren’t good guys, but some of them fake it pretty damn well. Earth has been trading with their standoffish-but-decent alien-robot neighbors, and some humans have even become acquaintances and friends with them. It was a quiet, strange sort of paradigm shift, but most people these days are comfortable with the decepticons. (“I’m sorry about your father, Samuel. I don’t know how that Autobot got on ship.” “Autobot?” “Just a group of crazies. Nobody you need to worry about.”)

7.[G1]The constructicons don’t actually like being a gestalt. It gives them status and prestige, yes, but it also means their missing brothers, Grapple and RoadHauler, will never fully rejoin the constructicons again.

8.[G1] The ever tempting Starscream-has-amnesia story. But Skyfire isn’t the only autobot glad to have a prewar Starscream on their side, Starscream’s wingmates aren’t willing to give him up, and Starscream himself wants to know what he’s forgotten, even if it means risking becoming the person he was again.

9.Prowl has a secret. He’s a former decepticon, not that anyone, even his bondmate or commanders, knows. That’s because he himself doesn’t know.

10.[2007] Barricade kills Sam to avenge Megatron. One year later, Bumblebee wakes up with a living (if horrifically scarred) Sam curled up at his side. (“Sorry it took me so long ‘Bee. Got tied up at Purgatory.”)

11.[G1] The first sign they had that something was different was when Scavenger started speaking with a crystal city accent again.

12.[2007] Crossover, crack. “Hello, Aunt Shego.”

13.[G1](Fanon is fun) Special abilities, like Skywarp’s warping or Mirage’s invisibility, are the result of minor, harmless mutations in the spark. Some tech is needed so the mech’s shell is affected and not just the spark, but the tech itself cannot convey the ability. On another track, bonding can heal sparks. One bonded partner might follow the other into death, but they can also prevent their partner’s spark from fading in borderline cases or stabilize an unstable psych. If a mech that has a ‘special ability’ bonds, their spark will be ‘repaired’, and they will lose that ability.

14.Don’t worry so much. It’s not like were alone in here.

15.He died as he lived, painlessly and asleep.

16.[G1]One should never drive scientists into corners. Especially crazy ones with explosives. They tend to blow themselves up.(Anyone read Good Omens? I’m thinking Agnes Nutter at the stake)

17.[G1] Speaking of Terry Pratchett, Sam Vimes and Megatron need to meet. Badly. (You’re under arrest for carrying a concealed weapon- don’t think I didn’t see that gunne arm- loitering with intent, conspiracy-of course I don’t have proof, you’d be a bloody poor conspirator if you left proof- threatening an Elected Official, assault…)

18.’I’m half sick of shadows and I can’t see the sky’-Emilie Autumn, Shalott

19.Sometimes, simply surviving is the most courageous thing imaginable.

20.Dying bravely takes a single moment of courage. Living bravely requires millions.-proverb
First Aid on his own.

21.[G1] Strong Bad: Now, I know it may not make a lot of sense, but when have I even been one to back down from a bad idea? Let's get this train wreck a-rollin'! -Homestar Runner
Peace Is Our Profession. Mass murder is just a hobby. -Gary Henley, punning on the motto of the Strategic Air Command
#34: "If you're leaving scorch marks, you need a bigger gun".
#37: "There is no 'overkill'. There is only 'open fire' and 'I need to reload'." - Schlock Mercenary, "The Seven Habits of Highly Effective Pirates"
The decepticons (or Megatron himself) begin to notice Meg’s resemblance to certain over-the-top characters of human creation(and/or persuasion).

22.[G1] As a matter of fact, Inferno is not the first mech to be “Red Alert’s Babysitter”.

23.The Fey can be injured and killed by Cold Iron, which some have postulated is meteor metal, or metal from outer space.

24.?: Decepticons are people too. Scary, crazy people.

25.Someone on earth starts publishing ‘transformer inspired’ drama/humor novels. The catch? Most of the stories are suspiciously similar to embarrassing incidents members of both sides would like to forget. The incredibly obvious name changes don’t help.

26.[G1] Hot Rod doesn’t like to talk about his creator, who is totally deranged.

27.He found all manner of lost marbles, discarded datapads, broken strings, bits of stone, ruined toys, punctured tires, forgotten shrapnel, all the lost and broken things that people left behind in the rush of living, gathered them up and kept them near him, because he of all people knew what it was like, to be lost and forgotten.

28. It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.-Jingo, Terry Pratchett
An autobot, stuck in a time before he was created, forced to dwell in the slums and scavenge for energon and shelter, helpless to change the things he knew were wrong, finds his perspective changing. The decepticons would one day be the monsters he fought against, but right now they were the only ones doing what was right. (“I’ll serve, Lord Megatron. Primus help me, but I’ll serve.)

29.Swindle: Nice little planet you’ve got here. Shame if something happened to it.

30.I’ve seen several fics where humans get confused by cybertronian gender, but never any where cybertronians get confused by humans'. Which I think is just as, if not more, likely, personally. (“I’m a man, even if I have a uterus.” “I’m a guy, but I enjoy dressing as a female.” “My gender doesn’t matter, and I enjoy being androgynous.” “My genes say I’m male, but I’m physically intersex and identify as female.” “I prefer to be considered omnigendered.” “I’m transsexual.” “I’m a hermaphrodite.” )

31.?: You can’t discriminate against me just because I’m dead!

32.In the finest tradition of Cybertron, he proceeded to get ridiculously overcharged and refused to see anyone for another 3 orns.
