I thought of Optimus and Megatron, but that one's too obvious. I think this one can go for any Bot and Con.

4. Because of the energon crisis, all the wild creatures of Cybertron (and any other ‘natural’ part of the planet that could produce energy) were hunted down and drained for their energon. Hound, Trailbreaker, and Beachcomber reluctantly took part in this, and on Earth they try to protect the environment as a sort of penance.

I think humans eating animals would be like a painful reminder of what they had to do.

5. Also, did the Autobots ever worry that the humans will have a blood shortage? It seems to be the equivalent of an energon shortage…

I think someone mentioned blood banks. But do they worry whenever the blood banks announce there is a shortage of blood? Do they think blood types = energon grades?

8. Thundercracker/Wheeljack = Crackerjack

But they are told they can't vote because they are minors. Which will start the debate that if they are Americans old enough to be considered children, shouldn't the Autobots and Decepticons be charged with child endangerment/abuse?

24. Optimus and Megatron are having another epic battle. Their troops, fighting around them, are startled by a sudden bright blue light and turn to watch as Megatron reaches triumphantly into Optimus’ chest and - yoink! - takes the Matrix… which slams itself into Megatron’s partly-torn-open chest. When the brilliant light fades, both Megatron’s and Optimus’ weapons are gone, as are their faction symbols. The Matrix rests, satisfied, within Megatron, having successfully chosen a new Prime.

Somehow, I keep picturing half the Matrix within Optimus and the other half between Megatron.
