My mind wandered to all sorts of places when there's no internet connection. Here's some of the bunnies it ended up breeding.
1. Any continuity: The Autobots and/or Decepticons land somewhere else entirely, like Russia, or Uruguay, or Ireland. Can you imagine them with Irish accents? That'd actually be pretty cool.
2. Any continuity: The bots and cons wake up/arrive in a different time period, like the 1800's or 1500's or 2200's. Maybe if they woke up early enough they could prevent the Native American genocide...
3. A combination of the two bunnies above where they wake up at a different time in a different place...like feudal Japan.
4.
Armada: So it turns out Shockwave has been experimenting on Starscream since he was a youngling. Some of the experiments work. Some of them don't. Some are useful. Some are useless or just plain ridiculous. It's why Starscream has been able to survive longer than most bots that become Megatron's second.
However, Starscream has just discovered an experiment that is so ridiculous, ludicrous, and embarrassing that Starscream finally decides enough is enough, blows up at all the Decepticons present (including Megatron), and goes AWOL while they are in shock.
a. Megatron didn't know about the experiments, although Starscream thought he did.
b. Whenever Starscream runs into someone he knows, he goes into a rant about the experiments done to him, always mentioning something new that ends up freaking out whoever's listening to him.
5. I got this from misreading a post from 2008. Can't remember which one exactly, but this is what I thought it said the first time I read the bunny: Galvatron is not responsible for people falling in love. Make of that what you will.

On Deviantart, there is an artist called F-for-feasant-design who has made a whole bunch of OC Dinobots using all sorts of dinosaurs and other ancient creatures. And who can blame him? There’s some really interesting creatures that used to run around Earth, and I’m sure everyone’s wished to see a robotic version of some of those creatures. So what if there were additional Dinobots in addition to the five, er six (I think Paddles counts.) or seven (Does Dinobot count?) canon Dinobots. I think you could make for some interesting characters. Of course, 85 OCs would be a spectacularly bad idea in a story with a plot so I’d recommend a much smaller amount of new Dinobots. Although if you do want to try 85 new Dinobots…
Anyway, there have to be a few rules. Otherwise, this could get really crazy.
a. The new Dinobots must have names that start with an ‘S’. Grimlock demands it!
b. If you don’t want OC’s you can come up with ways to turn canon characters into Dinobots (Wheeljack invention gone wrong, malfunctioning MacGuffin, parts used to make a new Dinobot), but the Dinobots will still give them a new name that starts with S and only refer to them by that name.
c. Only one bot per dinosaur. So no new T-rexes or Triceratops. The only exception to this would be if you have a set of twins. Or maybe gestalts
d. Bonus points if you can make one of the Dinobots an alternate version of Dinobot. Except for in G1. That Dinobot’s had enough time travel shenanigans to last him several lifetimes.
And if you need any ideas for where the extra Dinobots came from…
G1: According to the movie, the Decepticons gained control of Cybertron at some point. Maybe Optimus Prime gave the science team permission to build extra Dinobots for extra fire power, but this time they make Dinobots one at a time to avoid any of the accidents that happened when the original Dinobots first came online.
Or, if you’re one of those people who think that the Dinobots are the offspring of Ratchet and Wheeljack, they had another litter…or two…
Or someone decided to take the Autobots that died in the movie and use their parts to make new Dinobots to make up for the personnel that they lost…I just realized how wrong that sounded. Would that make their situation similar to the Unicronians? *shudders* Okay, moving on.
Unicron Trilogy: A planet of Dinobots? Wasn’t there supposed to be a Jungle Planet where the Transformers had animal alt modes? I didn’t reach Cybertron so I’m not sure how that worked.
Or Dinobot Minicons. That’d be pretty cute actually.
Animated: When the Autobots visited Dino Park, Bulkhead accidentally smashed up additional dinosaurs, which led to more enhanced robots that ended up being given life by the Allspark Key.
Or the Allspark Key enhanced EMP had a larger range and affected additional animatronics that hadn’t been rampaging.
Or some combination of the two.
Prime: Going by the videogame that is supposed to exist in the same universe, the Dinobots existed long before the Autobots even thought about going to Earth. They were perfectly normal bots. They simply ran afoul of some Insecticons on a mission and Shockwave decided to rebuild and experiment on the survivors. So, if you want additional Dinobots, just add bots to the squad before that happened. They can be OCs or canon characters that don’t show up otherwise.
7. Prime: Meet June, Jack, Miko, and Raf…The Autobots’ pet cat and her kittens. Yeah, Bumblebee found her and brought her home. Ratchet said he couldn’t keep her but then she had her kittens. Tiny they may be, but the Autobots still love them.

People must find Sari a techno-organic fascinating because there are lots of OC techno-organics on Deviantart that use her as a base. You see techno-organics in fanfics too, but I’d like to see less OC’s. After all, there are plenty of human characters already in the series. And who’s to say that she’s the only human techno-organic to ever pop up in the wide Transformers multiverse?
Spike: Do we ever see his mother? Does he have a mother? And how was his father able to get away with having his teenage son work with him on an oil rig unless there were no records of Spike that would give his age.
Carly: She’s pretty smart. Smart enough to understand a good deal of the stuff the Autobot scientists talk about.
Astoria: She’s in love with a robot and has some abilities that should be classified as superhuman.
Daniel: Considering how much he looks like his dad and how often Spike is dragged along with the Autobots on missions, an accident might happen.
Brad, Carlos, and Alexis: They bonded to Minicons. How did they do that if they’re human?
Sam: Well, there was that weird Allspark possession thing.
Jack: Actually, I’ve seen a couple of stories where he’s a techno-organic. One was via a method similar to Sari. The other was through June unknowing marrying a Cybertronian that looked human.
Miko: Look at what that girl has survived. Plus she’s supposed to be like the Prime version of Sari.
Raf: He can talk to Bumblebee.
June: Jack’s grandfather was Cybertronian and he told his daughter all about the war.
Fowler: What? It would explain why he was made their liaison.
And then there are all the crossover possibilities, but I'm not gonna get into that.
I noticed there's not tag for techno-organics, along with a few characters from Prime. Should those be added?
