I. Dr. Arkville is a Conspiracy Theorist! He knows there are alien life forms out there, trying to take over the world, and here is one to prove it! To bad no one believes him - not even after he subjugates a good amount of men into mind-controlled slaves, and helps bring Cybertron in a near-stable orbit within viewing distance of earth.
II.
Cyborgs, amalgams, TechnoOrganics, and similar forms - the hybrids between Cybertrons and humans: Do they live a human lifespan, a Transformer lifespan, or somewhere in the middle? What must it be like for individuals like Sari Sumdac to watch the human generation after generation die, but live almost unchangingly through the centuries? What do the Autobots and/or Decepticons think when they realize these vile creatures or creations, though once of pure heritage, are doomed to die much sooner than everyone else?
III. When Spike isn’t being chauffeured by Bumblebee, he enjoys hanging out with Jazz and Hound. Bee, due to his small size in bot form, grew to enjoy being able to walk along side the humans. Jazz and Hound, while they enjoy earth and its offerings, they can’t walk side-by-side with the humans, and are either afraid of hurting an earthling, or scare the people not used to giant metal mechs going around without their disguise.
IV. Sparkplug commandeers Jazz when he needs a ride. (that is, if Trailbreaker or another bot has not already volunteered to give him a lift to wherever, whenever)
V. Sparkplug is not his original name. His real (human identity) is actually Arthur Witwicky. Sparkplug is his Autobot designation, given to symbolize the fact he now belongs with the Autobots. (Optimus Prime and the others found one that fit their first human ally, in an effort to protect the human family)
VI. During Normal Battle Situations, the Decepticons typically ignore the humans. Unless one or more of the individuals present are known friends of the Autobots, or have desired knowledge that will enable ‘defeat of the Autobots’ or a new invetion/weapon that will assist in ‘taking over the world’
VII. None of the Cybertrons deliberately harm the humans. Autobots try to protect the fleshy creatures, seeing value in the local lifeforms, while the Decepticons consider them to be a minor nuisance. (In fact, they don’t deliberately kill anyone, but, if by their inaction, a human were to die, the Decpticons would (possible) sit back and watch the human expire. Autobots, they’d try to help, but their inexperience with humans means they might be prolonging the suffering, instead of healing or helping.
VIII. Autobots don’t understand death as humans do. But they do realize an organic frame is harder to repair than their metal bodies, and so try not to damage them. (how many times has Optimus Prime returned back to life? And the others? They’ve all had AT LEAST ONE miraculous resurrection in cannon.
IX. The Dinobot teamwork is fairly primitive. They do work together to take down an enemy, but they do it by ganging up on an opponent that is already distracted - and they come by it half-hazardly, not planned. Such as: taking advantage of a distracted fighter.
X. When the Constructicons form ‘Devestator’, someone shouts ‘ Phase 2’ - Why? Aren’t gestalts a normal advancement and a natural advantage over the limited alt forms of the other Cybertrons? (Was theirs the first successful laboratory experiment where the participants didn’t go mad and die? Or is it only a small part on an even larger plan?)
XI. Brawn is the Autobot version of a Juggernaught. When Brawn decides on an action, the only mech who can even hope to sway him, is Prime - and not through force or by fighting.
XII. Jazz is the real leader of the autobots. Optimus Prime is the official leader. (‘Cause common thinking is ‘larger bots’ can lead - have both the presence, and the power to lead, while small mechs, are mentally incapable of holding enough processing power or physical power to command/bully large groups)
XIII. Shockwave is a femme!
a. She can be a hidden femme, where only a select few know (the Decepticon hierarchy (Megatron only or the 2IC), for instance)
b. Or its common knowledge that Shockwave happens to be a femme.
Either way, Shockwave is not courted by the other Decepticons.
A1. Perhaps it is because she is related to Megatron (a creation, a sister/twin, a carrier, or other), or is claimed by Megatron, and is his bondmate, or sparkmate, or other-half.
B1. Perhaps the reason Shockwave has no mate or true companion beyond the drones, is because she is even more ruthless than the battle-hardened warriors. Everyone else who might be attracted to her power and position, are scared to death of her.
XIV. Starscream used to lead troops. In fact, he was commander of an entire battalion, ONCE. Before the war killed so many troops the surviving officers had to consolidate into one platoon, and are now reduced to mere underlings. The lucky commanders/leaders, were given command posts away from the heavy fighting, and managed to hold onto their section of land, or complete their objectives, or kept more of their troops alive, and thus, aren’t required to be supervised personally by Lord Megatron. (Or they are stationed so far away -off planet-- they didn’t receive orders in a timely fashion and/or weren’t able to be by his side, instantly).
XV. Starscream is a youngling - he’s only recently become ‘of age.’ (Been lying since before the Science Academy or they took him in as a child protégé /genius)
XVI. ALL the troops under Megatron and Optimus Prime are younglings - the leaders cannot trust their troops to behave in a proper fashion when unsupervised, because they are the equivalent of teens (baring a few exceptions who are ‘hired help’ or babysitters).
(PROOF) Optimus Prime has to always tell his troops to roll out, and then cautions them to NOT FIRE when humans are present.
(EVIDENCE) Megatron complains that his troops never do anything right, and is constantly watching them, to make sure they don’t mess up his plans (which he never talks about, too easy to sabotage).
XVII. Megatron has teeth. Optimus Prime has teeth. Megatron does nothing to hide or protect his teeth. Optimus Prime either protects or hides his teeth behind the facemask he always wears.
XVIII. Megatron is glitched!
a. He must micromanage his plans. That’s why he doesn’t talk about his goals (beyond ruling the universe), and is always yelling at one of his underlings for ‘being an absolute moron’ (duh, they aren’t processor readers), when they take the initiative, and try to help him out.
b. Or his glitch involves always telling his troops they are wrong, and that they can’t do anything right. (Or, he does to Starscream, anyway)
XIX. Soundwave is essential. Not just for his communication and spying abilities, but also because he carries empty energy cubes in his chest compartment (or he is the only one who can create the ‘glass-like transparent sheets’ in sufficient quantities).
XX. Starscream’s null rays are valuable - Through helping to extract the energon from natural sources, the null rays help start/speed up the conversion process. One strike, and natural energy sources (minerals, oil, lava/magma, and more) can be quickly and easily turned into immediately usable energon. One minor drawback: energon formed in this way is more volatile (explosions likely), than the older, traditional methods - which don’t yield as much or as rich fuel.
XXI. Only StarScream has Null Rays - were they one-of-a-kind, or is something else preventing other Deceptions from adding a stun-weapon to his arsenal? Why haven’t the Autobots been able to copy the defensive-weapons that can’t kill or permanently harm another? Perhaps, these Null Rays are the ONLY guns/lasers Starscream has.
XXII. Of all of Earth’s natural resources that can be harvested or turned into energon cubes, natural Lightening cannot be constrained in such a manner. It is too wild, unpredictable, and uncontrollable.
XXIII. Reflector is a companion to Soundwave. (either a ‘true’ cassette, or a mini-mech -Soundwave is his protector).
XXIV. Decepticon cassettes exist only outside Soundwave - When they are ‘resting’ in his chest compartment, they are a part of him. One can be disassembled and changed for new mission parameters.
The names of the Decpticon cassettes are not names of ‘individuals’, but the name to the basic programming with abilities and prototype processing system that is unleashed when the mech(ling) is sent out on errands.
a. In other words, ‘Ravage’ is the blueprint for a land-based spy and saboteur.
b. ‘Frenzy’ and ‘Rumble’ are builders/destroyers - one design incorporated the need for clarification of orders, and vocal communications.
c. ‘Laserbeak’ is more of a scout and spy than anything else. ‘Buzzsaw’ is slightly modified, but same skill-sets.
XXV. BumbleBee is a full-grown cassette - (how and why he no longer has/needs a TapeDeck companion, is up to you).
XXVI. Wheeljack knows how to repair/fix a TapeDeck and his companions - when Hoist and Ratchet are stumped, he’s the one Blaster takes his cassettes to. (maybe he found/upgraded Bee?) How Wheeljack knows this rare information, is up to you. (Did he used to be a carrier? Was one of his dead friends upgraded to be the ‘life-support’ system for smaller mechs?)
XXVII. It is mostly through hearsay we know ‘Wheeljack’s inventions fail to work’. True, when it does explode, or do something unanticipated, the results are spectacular, but they usually work as advertised. In the G1 Cartoons, we have: Magnetic grapplers/cup links, LightSource given to Spike, the Dinobots, grenades used to disrupt energy broadcasts, an immobilizer, and that’s just off the top of my head.
XXVIII. If the Ark was hidden in the ruins of Iacon, what might the other destroyed cites of Cybertron hide beneath the ruins?
a. Could City-formers, like Metrapolix, form space-faring ships and keep it protected even while the rest of his body is being razed to the ground?
b. Would that make Teletran1 a caretaker to the Ark? Or just a subset of a full processor?
XXIX. Telatran1 is neutral! Because he doesn’t have a mech form (and can’t move), the Autobots don’t see him as a threat (he’s carried them around for eons, and does care for his ‘passengers’). Since Telatran1 doesn’t spy on the Decepticons, they ignore his existence, thinking him to be a simple computer program.
