What if Transformers laid eggs? I have visions of a broody!Barricade guarding his nest while an autobot stumbles across the nest and gets a thumping. Hell, any mix of Decepticon could work. I just think in Bayverse colors as y'all know,
Extra points if the Decepticon is one of the Constructicons (hell, better yet, ALL of them brooding the one clutch) and points for non spark, non sticky, some unusual and creative way of breeding >:)

Some of my own ideas:
1) Autobots find a brooding Decepticon and find that because splitting (non pair bonding birth, re: G2 comics) these eggs is so rare they're caught between killing the babies and protecting them despite the parentage.
2) All the gestalts start brooding at the same time. They're like ostriches and all in the unit will brood the one clutch.
3) Another (a Mini?) lays and the gestalts go into incubation protocol by nature.
4) Crack: Prowl goes into incubation mode after finding out a human (Carley from G1?) has given birth. Extra points if all the minis do the same thing instead. Even more points if none have ever gone into brooding protocall before.

'Bee: 'Uuuuh.. keeping him warm?' /confused bot look XD
