Strange crossover idea...
Being a huge fan of Tom Clancy's books, in particular the Ryanverse novels, I started to wonder what Transformers would've been like if written in Clancy's style.
Then I started wondering about a G1/Ryanverse crossover. How would've the Autobots and Decepticons played into the events of the books set in the time frame of the late 1980s?
On a side note, only about 13 days separate the debut of the G1 cartoon and of Clancy's first work, The Hunt for Red October. (September 17, 1984 and October 1, 1984, to be exact.)
