Bunnies!

May 21, 2011 12:40

I've scrolled through these bunnies for the last few months and I'm amazed at just how many I recognized as being the muse for some of the wonderful Transformers fanfiction I've read.  So I wanted to add some of the bunnies that popped up while I was looking through this journal.  I hope they inspire someone to create their story.

1.  This bunny is inspired #3 on this page.  http://community.livejournal.com/tf_bunny_farm/65301.html#cutid1

This is meant to be something of a crack!fic.

Femmes can spark up mechs but don't usually feel any need to stick around and take care of the sparkling.  So most mechs keep a wary eye on femmes when they are around and tend to stick with other mechs (for protection) and away from the femmes.

It's rumored that Megatron's initial attempt to get rid of femmes shortly after the beginning of his revolution was because one of them led him on and then sparked him up and left him to take care of the sparkling.  Any Decepticon will happily confirm this rumor and promptly tell you that Megatron's mood swings really played havoc with base moral, though on the positive side, they won every battle they had while Megatron was carrying.  Then they all took a nice long break after the sparkling was born.  Megatron called it Carrier Leave.

On a side note, the fearsome Decepticon leader couldn't help but adore his perfect, little creation but he was certainly going to make sure *his* precious little mech wasn't ever deceived by a traitorous femme.  Or a foolish, softhearted, slag-for-brains Autobot either.

2.  In a completely different story from #1, Megatron had a sparkling, Bluestrike, with a treasured Consort.  Megatron knew Bluestrike would never fit in with the Decepticons.  His carrier, after all, was from a neutral family of Peacemakers.  So Megatron had Bluestrike raised and trained for combat in Praxus where the youngling lived with his carrier but never planned for his youngest creation to actually *see* combat.

When the city is destroyed by his overly-ambitious second in command (NOT Starscream and Megatron immediately kills the SIC when he finds out what happened.  I'm thinking Megatron promoted Starscream after this to appease the Seeker Nation as they were PISSED about what happened at Praxus.) Megatron is silently distraught at the loss of his Consort as well as his youngest creation.

Eventually, one of his Autobot spies informs him that Bluestrike - now called Bluestreak - survived but is now in the custody of the Autobots and has lost most of his memory.  Megatron decides to send two of his other creations to watch over their now Autobot brother.  They are not spies and their only job is to keep Bluestreak safe. Thus Sunstreaker and Sideswipe join the Autobots.

3.  Sam presents Bee with a large, ornate magnet he can wear as a "token of his esteem" ::blushing::  He got it from Wheeljack after the boy had described to the scientist what he wanted.  While Bee ooos and ahhhs over the gift and Sam blushes some more, Sunstreaker immediately jumps on this new possibility for decoration his stunning self.

4.  Inspired by #35 http://community.livejournal.com/tf_bunny_farm/80696.html#cutid1

The Autobots think the youth sectors were destroyed.  In reality, the Decepticons found out that the Autobot Council was going to destroy it and blame them.  So they attacked the sectors and moved most of the sparklings and younglings into an underground base (possibly in status to conserve energon?).  An entire legion of Decepticons maintains and protects the complex and all are carefully supervised.  This is the reason that the Seekers eventually joined the Decepticons and most of their own young are also waiting there for the end of the war.  Please no angst with Decepticons taking advantage of the younglings.  Bonus points if this fact is used for better bargaining by the Decepticons during negotiations to end the war.

5.  Ever since that last battle bugged up his CPU, Optimus Prime has two personalities.  He's Optimus Prime whenever things are serious and the Prime is called for.  All other times, he's Orion Pax, a rather mischievous dockworker, newly raised from youngling status and ready to party.  He isn't quite certain what he's doing here in this odd, orange ship but he intends to have as much fun as possible because no one seems to be able to berate or punish him.  He's also keeping his optics alert for that cute silver miner mech who used to wander into his Creator's bar from time to time and wink at him.  Bonus Points if he physically changes back to Orion whenever that personality takes over.

6.  Bluestreak is a VERY perceptive (almost empathic) mech though it took him a while to figure out that others are not as perceptive as he is.  As a youngling with the Autobots he tended to just blurt out things as he was jabbering, expecting that everyone had picked up the same signs he'd seen.  So he has a reputation of letting secrets out though he really knows how to keep secrets.

Jazz finds this out when Bluestreak comes to him one day, worried about the newest arrival to the ARK who Blue thinks is a Decepticon spy.  Jazz, at first, doesn't believe it but then Bluestreak tells him all the reasons why he thinks this mech is a spy and convinces him.  It turns out that the mech IS a Con.  Jazz considers that Bluestreak just might make a really good addition to his Special Ops team.

7. TFA Sentinel Prime would never let Optimus find out that leaving Elita behind on that planet had been on purpose.  The femme had just gotten too close to Optimus and Sentinel wasn't having that!  Optimus was *his*.

optimus prime, bluestreak, orion pax, sideswipe, megatron, sunstreaker, sam witwicky, bumblebee, sentinal prime, jazz
