this is what happens when a story gets overhauled.

I revamped one of the stories I have been working on, and a small side-story that's barely mentioned because it has really nothing to do with the main story, just answers a question about one character, has no place in the story now. So I'm putting it here because it's too good to throw away.

Prime has Prowl go undercover with the Decepticons. No one knows this but a select few: Ratchet and Jazz being two of them. Everyone who knows plays a part in his cover without having the full recipe, I guess you can say. The night before he leaves, Jazz and him talk. Both want to tell the other that they've loved them for a long time, but are too afraid that either their feelings aren't reciprocated, or that they are and while Prowl's gone, one of them will die, most likely Prowl. The next day, he gets into costume and starts his new life as Barricade.

While in there, he leaks what information he can get, including Megatron's plans to use the Alspark for personal gain. Around that time, Megatron suspects a leak, and also suspects it's Barricade. He assigns Frenzy to 'babysit' him, and if he is the leak, to take care of him. Prowl is now trapped. He knows why Frenzy has been assigned to him, but plays dumb. During this time, he plays the part of 'loyal Decepticon', looking for a chance to escape back to the Autobots. That chance doesn't come until Frenzy is decapitated at Hoover Dam. But when he finds out about Jazz fate before he reports into Prime, he decides to take some time for himself for mourning (hence why Prowl isn't in the next two movies).

prowl, bayverse, frenzy, barricade, jazz
