Hello guys! First post here. These have been gnawing at my brains for a while now. But never fear, I'm sure they'll be perfectly behaved once someone can take proper care of them. :3
1. "Man, I kinda envy you, Shockwave. Cushy desk job on Cybertron, surrounded by femmes..."
"Believe me, it is not nearly as pleasant as it sounds. Particularly the last part."
1a. Shockwave is sick of being on Cybertron. He wants something to do. Meanwhile, Skywarp is sick of being on Earth - tired of being shot at, tired of having to listen to his Air Commander whine. So the two of them contrive to switch places. Hilarity ensues as Skywarp proceeds to try and fail to hit on femmes, goof around with Shockwave's lab equipment, and generally act like a one-mech disaster. Alternatively, it could be some other Decepticon who takes up Shockwave's post... 'Warp just strikes me as the most hilariously incompetent choice.
1b. The misadventures of poor Shockwave, who at first tries to take advantage of the fact that he's left on Cybertron with all the femmes. All he wants is a nice romantic evening. Too bad they all hate him.
1c. Serious variant. The femmes decide to infiltrate Shockwave's command center and send one of their own to "defect" from the Autobots and pretend to help him. It takes a while for her to convince Shockwave that she has truly abandoned her former comrades, but once she does, she is startled by what she sees. Despite his coldness, Shockwave is desperately lonely, isolated from most of his faction for millions of years. The femme provides a chance for much-needed companionship, and as she gains his trust he begins opening up to her more than she thought possible. Seeing this other side of Shockwave come to light, the femme starts to have second thoughts about their plan. She can't betray her friends - but guilt is tearing her apart at having to betray the mech who has come to depend on her presence, the mech she is slowly beginning to fall for.
2. Even his screams were acoustically perfect.
Soundwave is tortured to the point of actually screaming in pain - what would it take to break his control? Alternatively, Soundwave has an obsession with his rival's voice, which is why he insists on taking charge of the interrogation when Blaster is captured.
3. Early on in the war, Soundwave was badly injured, permanently disfiguring his face and damaging his vocalizer beyond repair. His voice is now heavily modulated and he wears a facemask and visor to hide the scars - all of which greatly disturbs and frightens the cassettes, who are little more than sparklings at the time. Suddenly their creator seems almost like a stranger with his cold, scary voice and impassive facemask. Soundwave has to deal with the aftermath.
4. He held the other back with one hand on his shoulder, shaking his head. "No."
"But-"
"He's a Seeker. He needs this."
5. "This is just not right."
"Well... maybe. But there's nothing wrong with it either!"
"Nothing wrong?! How can you say there's nothing wrong?! Look at my wings! Does that look like nothing wrong to you imbeciles?"
"Shut up, Starscream."
