Too quiet
Yes I have been too quiet here but I've got 24 bunnies to bring.
1. An alternative to the early days of the transformers. Cybertron was originally an organic planet, populated by flesh beings,. However, though their minds were sharp, their bodies were weak. Survival was poor amongst this unknown species so they developed an exoskeleton to protect them from the elements. Gradually they became to rely on these forms and consequently their bodies weakened further. Flesh was not necessary so their bodies warped, changed and lost the flesh to become essences, sparks.

Cosmos returns from an exploration mission with a pod he found floating in space. What brought it to his attention was the markings on it’s casing, ancient Cybertronian markings. Yet there was no record of such a pod in the history banks. Opening it was to find an organic creature nestled in suspended animation.
It was awakened and questions were asked.
“What are you? Who are you?”
Then the creature spoke in an unfamiliar, almost indecipherable dialect of Cybertronian.
It said. “My name is, Prime.”
3. Crossover with Red Dwarf.
“Hol, why’d ya call me for? I was in the middle of sorting my dirty underwear collection.”
“Yes and smearing them all over my bed no less.”
“Well Dave, Mr Rimmer, ignoring the fact that they’ve now escaped into the air conditioning and are currently breeding like underwear rabbits, I have something more important that needs sorting.”
“Rimmer‘s personality?”
“Smeghead!”
“No, Dave. More like a bunch of Giant robots pointing rather large weapons at us and demanding to know who I am.”

6. Perceptor is like an addiction, everyone wants a piece of him. Even Perceptor is addicted to himself.
7. Movieverse: Simmons is forced to apologise to the Witwicky’s and now he’s been invited over for dinner by Judy. She’s made it her mission to get Simmons to act like a decent human being. Much to the chagrin of both Sam and his Dad.
8. With Hook injured and out of commission the Decepticons are short a proper medic. So they decide to kidnap one of the Autobot’s medics instead. Ratchet is not the one they get either.
(I wonder who is going to think of Perceptor Hmmm? :D )
9. Who shall rescue the beauty that sleeps atop the tallest tower of a castle over-run by thorns?
Sunstreaker is taken by an alien Queen who entranced by his good looks wanted him for herself. Now Sideswipe is out to save his brother from the evil queen’s clutches and Sunstreaker for once wishes he wasn’t so damned handsome!
10. Spike and the Seven Mini-bots (Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs)
I may have done this one before but oh well. It amuses me so.
11. Swoop decides he wants to be Superman and insists on a cape. Or for more fun it can be one of the Decepticons.
12. The Constructicons get a crazy idea when they hear about the tower of Babylon.
14. The actual truth is there are no such things as twin sparks. Sunstreaker and Sideswipe are not even closely related. No-one knows the truth. When the facts come out everyone is shocked, not least the ‘twins’ themselves.

Mirage may have come from a privileged background but he couldn’t help but see the poor suffer. So he uses his cloaking abilities to help the poor by stealing from the other rich bots.

20. Soundwave and Blaster are unique in that they are the only Cybertronian’s in existence that can reproduce. With their race dying these two become the most important things for the continued survival of Cybertron and Cybertronians. Yes, things, they are seen as little more then valuable commodities.
21. Can go with 20. Nothing hurts more then seeing your children taken away and their fate and future already decided. It hurts worse when you can feel when one dies on the battlefield.
22. Movieverse: Frenzy died. Keenly feeling the loss, Soundwave creates a new Frenzy to fill the gap. A mere child in the war. He will do anything to protect this new born, even hide him from other Decepticons.
23. Cliffjumper is red, has got attitude and likes to fight. This is because his parents are Sunstreaker and Sideswipe.

Somehow a combination of bunnies I’ve posted decided to hit me all at once as I dreamt of a strange conversation with Bumblebee and Sam about Transformer’s genders and reproduction habits. This isn’t a complete bunny per se more like a conversation that went on in my head but not verbatim as I was dreaming and not what you call awake. Warning this is LONG and badly written!
“ We don’t really have genders as such. We have two types of Spark, those that can propagate and those that cannot. I guess you would call those that can female and those that cannot male, if compared to your own species gender design that is.
The outer form, our physical bodies have no allocation to Spark type, we are simply designed for a specific job or skill set in mind. For example Ironhide has a ‘female’ spark whereas Arcee has a male one. So you can’t really tell just by looking. Or by actions. You certainly wouldn’t compare Ironhide to your human idea of femininity or Arcee with Masculinity, we don’t fall each other into categories like that, because like I said gender isn’t really applicable to us.
How do we create a spark? Well the spark needs an influx of supercharged energy in order to have the ability to subdivide. We can get that from, interfacing or by applying a charge ourselves. (For us it’s an M-word. ;) ) It’s risky as the charge could damage the owners own spark so we don’t propagate often. And also for that reason those with a propagating spark can’t just interface when they want.
Some like Blaster though have sparks that are very strong against the damages and risk of death a Spark energy influx can inflict. So he can create new sparks much more easily.
Once a new Spark is born, the body forms a protoform egg around it. This is usually nestled in the spark chamber. This doesn’t take long to form and for protection of the new Spark it is removed and secured in the medical wing. Being warriors and the dangers of overspill of the parents spark means it’s too dangerous to hold the protoform egg inside. Besides without coding implanted into the egg, it won’t hatch and will eventually die.
Yes, even though a Spark is born it still needs coding. The protoform egg is only at the most basic level. We can’t simply transfer the spark straight to a completed body. It would be like taking a human brain and adding a billions bits of data simultaneously. It would stress and kill the sparkling to inundate it with so much information.
The egg is designed like a blank canvass. A basic core programme that needs to be upgraded a stage at a time. Before the war I was told, that once the early stage programmes were installed that it was preferred to install further upgrades after the spark had a body. It was seen as better to have experiences to go with them as they grew, but since the war we haven’t had that luxury.
So to your answer on Cybertron children, we did have a childhood, but not anymore. It’s just too dangerous now.
Of course the Decepticons have chosen to abuse this. They’ve stolen Protoform eggs to experiment on before trying to find ways of making better soldiers.
If they can’t steal a protoform egg then they would kidnap anyone who can create and force them to.
Soundwave, a Decepticon, is like Blaster in regard to his higher percentile of success in creating. Frenzy was one of his. He has others too which you haven’t met. Soundwave is as cold as he appears. He’s offered up many protoform eggs for Megatron’s scientist Shockwave to work on. They’ve had their growth stunted and their Sparks have been corrupted. Scorponok was also experimented on. And yes Blackout is his creator, so I guess Blackout is what you would also call female. “
