These little bunnies have been languishing in my head for far too long. Thus, I'm giving them up for adoption so they'll quit bugging me.
1. If something were to happen to Soundwave or Blaster, what would become of their cassettes? Especially if they were the creations of Soundwave and Blaster and were, in a way, dependant on their Creator/Host for survival. Mainly me wondering if they were dependant would they have to find another tape deck former or would they have to find someone willing to transfigure themselves into a tape deck for them. And because I’m obsessed with Ratchet at the moment, I had a mental image of all of Soundwave’s cassettes deciding Ratchet would make a perfect host and latching onto him. Or a combination of both con and bot cassettes each adopting one of the science bots as their new host. Or Bluestreak, because I’m really random.
2. Crossover with Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. Because what would be more epic than the powerful Force wielding Sith Lord Revan meeting up with the powerful ancient telepathic robot Soundwave. And his cassettes of course, can’t forget them. They’ll drive Bastila up the wall. That and HK-47 and con interaction, because I love that homicidal little droid to pieces. Also, please be tackling the issue that the majority of the galaxy will think they’re nothing more than really big droids/soulless machines. Because if you don’t consider HK-47, R2-D2 and C-3PO to be sentient beings, then you won’t think twice about a giant alien robot. Perhaps the only ones to truly understand would be force sensitives being able to feel the spark/spark bonded pairs or something.
2. Crossover with Batman. One of the Transformers lands in Gotham by mistake. For whatever reason, they scan the alt mode of the Batmobile. Then they are quite shocked when this strangely dressed organic hops in and drives off. They’re even more shocked when they see some of the villains running around Gotham. (For some reason I can see Barricade as the one turning into the Batmobile and grumbling about crazy costumed fleshlings.)
3. Someone (most likely the twins) bets Ratchet that he can’t go a single day without throwing something or cursing up a storm at anyone (whether they’re wounded or not) who walks into his medbay. No one but Ratchet and the one who made the bet knows of it. To say that the rest of the Ark, and the ‘Cons even when Ratchet is out on the field during a battle, are disturbed and worried by the lack of violence from the medic is an understatement.
4. Ratchet runs a terribly high fever and has a conversation with the ghost of one of the mechs he couldn’t save that day. Bonus points if it’s a ‘Con.
5. Sam is captured by the Decepticons. Most likely by Barricade who took on the alt form of a Camaro. He then takes Sam to some secret base/lair/hideout/whathaveyou for a time before deciding what to do with him. Soundwave happens to have just arrived that night and is curious about the inner workings of the human mind. So he decides to scan Sam’s brain, who is asleep at the moment, and is quite shocked by what he sees. The dream Sam is having is rather steamy in nature (please make it an unexpected pairing like him, Miles and Starscream or something) and since the feelings are so different, yet so alike and the sensations so strong as well, Soundwave gets a little . . .caught up in the moment.
6. We’ve all heard stories about the ghost police car. But what about the phantom medic? There are rumors about an ambulance that appears out of no where, reaching areas where no one else can in a record amount of time. The driver is never the same, sometime a man, others a woman, and on rare occasions, people whisper to each other when no one is watching, there is no driver at all. Sometimes the vehicle itself changes, from a green rescue hummer to a red and white ambulance. The only thing that remains the same is the strange red face that stares at everyone somberly. Those on the street know him best, they say he arrives when you truly need it most. Offering aid to those who can’t go to a doctor and sparking hope for those in desolate need. Some have even started to trust this strange medic more than any other. Actually going so far as to make and wear the red symbol a token of their faith.
7. Crossover with as many Transformer continuities as possible. I don’t care how it’s pulled off, so long as it has the barest amount of plausibility in it, like one of Megatron’s Diabolical World Domination Devices of the Week went out of hand and the fabric of reality itself is torn apart. Or Wheeljack and Perceptor decided to team up and build a new device which fails spectacularly. But I really want to at least see Movie, G1, Animated and Mirror Verse all collide. Cause really, Mirror verse Prime and Animated Prime meeting would be the ultimate crack. I know there are other bunnies similar to this one, but the difference here is that the barriers between ALL the mulitverses implode, or something, and everyone gets to meet all their different counterparts.
8. Sam has the life giving powers of the All Spark. Optimus has the soul/intelligence giving powers of the Matrix. Sam/Optimus anyone?
9. The All Sparks power was absorbed by Sam, and because a fleshling body couldn’t handle the strain, he was reformatted into a Cybertronian body. The thing is, now that Sam has the powers of the All Spark, can he turn other organics into Transformers like he was?
10. The mechs who died in TF:TM never existed. Or they were killed early on in the war. However, every once in a while, when time is dire, unknown mechs will come to the rescue. Like those stories you hear of emergency workers being saved by someone they thought was on their team to realize that person never actually existed.
11. Someone (Bluestreak, Twins, Blaster, Jazz ?) has played one horror/survival game too many. Because with these types of games you quickly learn the value of heavy metal objects; wrenches, crowbars, hammers, chisels, ratchets, etc. Normally, this wouldn’t be much of a problem, maybe a few recharge cycles interrupted because of the occasional nightmare or something, but nothing huge. It doesn’t become an issue until they refuse to go to med bay and avoid the resident CMO like the plague.
12. In Transformers Animated episode, Autoboot camp, the recruits were named by Sentinel Minor. What I’m curious about is how Ratchet earned his name. Well, not so much curious about how he got is as to whose helmet he dented with a thrown ratchet to get his name. How the others earned their names would be interesting too; Jazz, Prowl, Optimus, Sentinel, Ultra Magnus. (Cause really, I wanna know what Magnus did to deserve his name and who exactly gave it to him.
13. The Constructicons are bored. Now it’s not because they don’t have anything to do. The opposite in fact. It’s just that they’re very tired of doing the same types of projects day in and day out. They want to do some building just for themselves. So, one of them starts to cruise the human Internet, and comes upon a few sites that tell about construction projects that humans want to do but, at the moment, can’t quite figure out the logistics of building it yet. (Bridge across the Bering Strait for example. They also find it as a bit of a challenge to their skill, ’cause if a fleshy can build something then they can do a far, far better job then the humans could ever dream of.) To say some humans are surprised to find these technological marvels popping up all over the place practically overnight is an understatement.
14. The Matrix has been in the possession of many different bots. So, any bot that held it for a certain amount of time would become the next Prime. Here’s a list of the mechs (I know of) that had it and I would love to see actually become the Autobots next leader: Thunderwing (the Matrix actually used him more than he used it making him a bit genocidal), Starscream (the Matrix was corrupting Screamer like it was with Thunderwing, only it was turning him good ), Bumblebee, Dead End and Wild rider (I’d personally love to see them become the Prime), Scrouge, Ultra Magnus, Galvatron, Alpha Trion, Quintession (Ghyrik), Death’s Head, Megatron, and Soundwave (if the cassettes were his creations, how would the Matrix affect them, especially since with them being subspaced, they’d be right next to the Matrix?)
15. Beta, the Robin Hood look alike and most kick ass femme of the Transformers world. After all, she does have a weapon that can tear apart Dark Guardians as easily as Megatron’s fusion cannon (in fact, even though she never received tech specs of her own, her crossbow was so powerful that it did). So, what happened to her? For some reason, a little corner of my mind is saying that she was Megatron’s creator/mentor and Alpha Trion’s sister.
16. Playing on the fact that all Seekers are the same model just with different paint jobs. The Autobots use this to their advantage by doing a little redecorating and switching out some vocalizers.
17. “Hello and welcome to the official Sixshot fan club, we are the creators and presidents of the club, the Terrocons.”
18. Perceptor’s way of organizing files? Sticky notes, everywhere.
19. Found a picture from a Transformers comic that had Grimlock experiencing a really weird dream in which Starscream had Megatron's paint job and fusion cannon. Challenge; it wasn't a dream.
20. Found yet another odd little picture. This one had Shockwave using a gun that looked exactly like his alt mode. Quote from site: Could it be that there's a tiny-mini-micro Shockwave who transforms into Shockers' handgun? Or is it just that Shockwave transforms into a giant version of this model of hand gun?
21. (After seeing far too many miscolorings in the cartoons). Do Cybertronians ever go through some of the phases that human young do, especially when it comes to their appearance and how often we change our style? Could possibly give a valid reason to the odd mis colors.
22. The Dominator Disks were used by the Autobots to make Devastator their slave. What they didn't know is that it actually reversed the reprogramming done to them. The Autobots start feeling guilty for their Decepticon like actions and decide to take the disks back out...
23. The Mind Bank is a place on Cybertron that stores the minds of Transformers in crystalline form. They can be used to give life to new warriors if help was needed. Grapple, Hoist, Smokescreen, Skids and Tracks were the five Autobots who had been revived in this manner. This leaves the possibility that two versions of each character exists. The originals on Cybertron and the copies on Earth. That means the ones who died in TF:TM can be revived by these crystal back ups of themselves. It also makes one wonder if the Decepticons did the same thing and there is a copy of Megatron’s mind hidden away somewhere. Megatron taking control of the Decepticons back from Galvatron? One of them actually entering an alliance with the Autobots to take out the other. Primus and Unicron both face palming and thinking ‘now there’s two of them.’
24. During development for the 2007 Movie, Blackout was going to be Soundwave. They share many similarities because of this; symbiote/cassettes, extreme loyalty to Megatron, facemasks, flying alt modes, the honor of being the creepy, silent, shadowy presence behind Megatron, and so on. What no one realized why they were so alike was that they were brothers, twins in fact.
25. It’s a well known fact that Transformers can live for millions of years. That means they can actually watch entire planets evolve and die because of that. It’d be interesting to see how a Cybertronian would react to the fact that the planet they visited ‘recently’ went from barely classed animal organisms to intelligent civilizations.
Also, another interesting event, would be if a different single Transformer was to visit a planet and helped the natives out, who at the time were only primitives, the natives think the visitor is some sort of god, and when the ‘former comes back, the natives are all grown up and quite surprised to see one of their myths walking around in front of them. Would be great if one planet each adopted Grimlock, Jazz, Ratchet, Bumblebee, Thundercracker, Dirge, Prowl, Soundwave (and his legion of cassettes) and whoever else you feel like including as their deities.
26. Ever wonder how Cybertron came to be populated by animals? Simple, the answer is All Spark/Matrix/Vector Sigma/some other powerful artifact radiation. Or one of the reasons why those artifacts were always in a heavily sealed off area so it couldn’t bring more things to life, like astro ticks. They (the artifacts) must have been either really bored or in a very vindictive mood when they created the ticks and fleas.
27. Post apocalyptic Earth. Sometime in the early 20th century, before any of the other bots landed on Earth, we basically screwed ourselves over a la Resident Evil/messing with things we have no right to/asteroid brings an alien disease/or other ‘for Science!’ type thing. This results in about 80% of all life on Earth becoming some sort of mutated monsters. The All Spark is an artifact that wants to help save life, preserve it. And seeing this life filled planet dieing a horrifically slow death it does the only thing it can. It alters the genetics of the surviving humans and animals unaffected by whatever it was that caused this whole mess in the first place. (Techno-organics, cyborgs, androids, something else entirely?) This leads to the humans having an intimate understanding of the All Spark and a deep bond with it. *Bonus points for the Witwicky family being the primary priests/guardians of the All Spark with a bit of a running competition with the Simmons knights/paladins. The Bane’s are the medics and Miles is, well, some sort of crazy Seer type person.
28. Inspired by above bunny. It would be very interesting to see the reaction the Transformers would have to one of the mega disasters Earth has in store for us. And I’m not talking about the kinds of storms we’ve been having lately, no these are the kinds that make the recent ones look like a walk in the park, ones that change the very surface of the Earth. After all, we’ve been through several mass extinctions and it’s near the time one is to strike again. Super Volcano that covers the world in ash, an earthquake so powerful that it actually affects the planet’s rotation, a Mega Tsunami that submerges almost every city and village on the coast lines, giant asteroid that nearly wipes out all life, the ice caps finally melt enough that the majority of the earth is now underwater, one of the multitude of other disasters or a combination of the lot.
29. A lesser known fact about Transformers is the fact that they don’t just consume energon as a fuel source, they also eat and drink a variety of different substances. So, a Cybertronian cooking show. Or, Martha-bot.
30. Some bots get addicted to some video games like Guitar Hero and Dance Dance Revolution among others. The thing is while some of them are expected to become obsessed with games like that (Blaster, Jazz, Soundwave, Sideswipe, etc) there are a few that really surprise everyone. Who knew that Ratchet liked to dance so much? Or that Megatron was really fond of human music, Dragonforce in particular. When some humans visit Optimus Prime’s office, they’re a little disturbed to see a few hundred plushies of well known digi and pocket monsters. The combiners all get a little caught up in World of Warcraft. Starscream is really interested in a game called Spore. Red Alert likes the Ace Phoenix games.
31. Blackarachnia is half organic and half machine. How exactly does this affect her in everyday function? But most importantly, does that mean she gets PMS? (Yes, I know her organic bits are spider, but they’re alien spider, so who’s to say they reproduce and react in the same way ones on Earth do? Besides, hormones are hormones, no matter what species you are.)
32. This is what happens when Transformers become just as obsessed with fandom as many humans do, cosplay. Or, an actual real life Enterprise, Slave I, Millennium Falcon, Borg Cube or some other sci-fi ship landing on Earth.
33. Since just about all Decepticons think of organics as barley sentient creatures, why would some of them choose a distinctly organic alt form like Ravage does?
34. There’s another bunny on here talking about all the cross faction pairings and why the war even goes on because of it. Lets take that one a little further and say that all of them have bond mates/partners on the other side.
35. Clone Wars; Earth style. When the Transformers land on Earth, they find a massive army of clones waiting for them.
36. In one of the very first episodes of Transformers, in the background you can see an Autobot poster with Megatron on it and a large yellow banner across the Con leader declaring him the enemy. What exactly is the propaganda both sides spew out to the masses? The cons definitely use propaganda and the Autobots will have to use it too unless they want to lose far too many recruits.
37. Inspired by all the parades I’m in. The Autobots, for whatever reason (to get to know humans better, reconnaissance, they’re really, really bored) decide to be in a few parades. Some even in bot form masquerading as float decorations. And the ones with the sirens having WAY too much fun scaring the ever living slag out of the fleshlings by setting them off at the oddest times.
38. Yet another crossover. Only this time with Halo. One of the Transformers gets knocked off course of their way to Earth. They are forced to perform an emergency landing on one of the Halos. How do the Covenant act to a race of beings that are completely immune to the Flood? As for the Halos themselves, they’re designed to wipe out all organic sentient life forms, but would they have any affect, detrimental or advantageous, to the Transformers? And for some reason I REALLY want to see Gravemind and bot interaction. Also, in a convoluted way, wouldn’t the Covenant maybe see the Transformers as the Forerunners? You know, warped religious logic. Forerunners = super advanced technology + Cybertronians = super advanced ancient robotic life forms thus it MUST equal these new creatures being the Forerunners.
39. “Everybody, meet Grimlock, the Balrog Transformer.”
40. What would it be like if Unicron had won?
41. The science bots decides it’s time to show everyone that you can have both brains and brawn. They do this by becoming a gestalt. Ratchet, Wheeljack, Perceptor, Skyfire, Grapple and Hoist. Or whoever you want.
42. The first Cybertronians realizing their own sentience. Going from simple servants of the Quints to thinking, feeling beings for the very first time.
43. Who exactly came up with the idea for transforming in the first place? What must it have been like for the very first group of bots to change? After all, it was experimental technology when they created it, and an experiment of this magnitude rarely ever goes right the first time, or even the fifth.
44. Animated. Lockdown’s never had a target get away from him before, and to have it be a medic made him even more determined to get back at his prey. The only thing really consulting him was the femme loosing her memory, acquiring that nifty EMP generator and almost turning one of the doc bots colleagues into his partner. Lockdown x Ratchet x Prowl.
45. Animated. Blitzwing held onto Ratchet’s arm for quite some time before finding Megatron. And we don’t really see what happens to it. So, what does three face do with the medic’s arm?
46. Biological warfare Transformers style.
47. After reading a number of different fics where some poor hapless mech realizes that the Unmaker is in their midst and his name is Ratchet. Well, lets say that for once, it’s true and Ratchet really IS the Unmaker.
48. Ratchet was never a medic. Instead he was a frontline warrior.
49. Again, reading fics where bots jokingly say that Ratchet could single handedly end the war if he wanted to. It starts out as a joke but they want to see what would really happen if they set Ratchet loose in the Decepticon base after they told him the Cons were glitches who didn't take their energon and slagged themselves doing stupid stunts.
50. How exactly did the new transforming technology affect everyone. What had it felt like for the very first ones to transform for the first time in history. Did everyone accept the new technology as easily as most did (like radar from WWII)?
51. The Transformers use that camouflage paint for role playing with their mates.
52. G1. With the advantage of subspacing items, if the cassettes and their partner(s) want some ultimate privacy, do they just go into Soundwave’s tape deck compartment?
53. Dead End and Wildrider, because bringing two extremes together is so much fun.
54. Dead End may not care about anything but he is a very refined mech. There aren’t very many with the same tastes as him, except for Mirage.
55. G1 episode Masquerade, after the camouflage paint is applied, you see Prowl standing there with his mouth gaping open. He’s like that because his CPU crashed a little hearing Optimus Prime’s voice come out of Motormaster’s body. Can’t blame him, it hurt my brain too.
56. The camouflage paint completely changes a mechs body, to the point that even those without gestalt technology are able to merge together. What must it be like for those wearing the paint to merge like that for the very first time?
58. Animated. With how old Ratchet is, and the theory/belief that when transformers die their sparks join with the All Spark, is it possible that one of the newly created sparks from the fragments use to be a mech that Ratchet new from years ago? A sort of reincarnation if you will.
59. What ever happened to the people from the village attacked out in the desert? They couldn’t have all been killed, their had to have been survivors. And witnesses of the giant mechanical scorpion.
60. A cell phone gestalt team.
61. Movie “So, whose bright idea was it to introduce
Crosshairs and Red Alert?” These two would most likely have a love/hate relationship with each other. At last, another who is as paranoid and understanding of the procedures they go through. Until they needed something from the other, like a weapon, or a security pass. Then they find out why no one can stand the other.
62. City former gestalt team. “Trypticon…Metroplex…MERGE!”
63. Saw this on one of those motivational type poster things on DevArt. “Ratchet; the long lost bastard son of Gregory House and Chuck Norris.” Do with it what you will. I still, personally, feel that he’s more related to Gordon Ramsey from Hell’s Kitchen. But that’s just me. After all how many times have you heard either one of them say “Get the #^%$ out of my kitchen/medbay!”
64. Ya know, I don't think it would matter how forewarned they were, beings who had been at war for millions of years probably wouldn't take too kindly to fireworks at first. After all, they may not have instincts in the same way we do, but an ingrained reaction is still automatic. That and Ironhide would probably try to shoot the things out of the sky. Ratchet's reaction most likely wouldn't be too favorable either, what with all the glitches he has to work with. Especially if they're located in an area like the high school parking lot by my home, which is the epicenter to around four major fireworks displays.
Also, if I tagged it wrong, I got some of my information mixed up (since I have a really bad habit of mashing all the verses together to form my own headspace Cybertron), or any of the bunnies don’t make sense, since I usually have a hard time trying to get my meaning across, just kick me or something.
