I still haven't decided on whether the contest entries should be anonymous. I want entries to be judged on how well they're written, not on who wrote them. But I don't really want them to be anonymous. If they're not anonymous, do you think voters can be trusted to vote for the best fic, not who wrote it?

Ultra Magnus: "You know... we forgot to warn Optimus about Perceptor."
Elita: "Eh, he'll figure it out."

Optimus: "Okay, why didn't one of you two tell me?"

Optimus: *is nearly growling* "Perceptor!"
Ultra Magnus: "Oh! ...Well, you did figure it out, didn't you?"
Optimus: *face palms*
You know, that was actually my thought as well (not killing his creators, which is a brilliant idea, but taking other people apart). I just didn't add it because I figured, with all the psychics here, someone else would have the same thought. And I was right!
...I can't decide which is worse - the fact that you knew someone else would read your mind or the fact that I actually did. And the more times I look at this idea, the more I love it...
?: "How could you, Perceptor?"
Perceptor: *looks innocent* "The devil made me do it."
*sporfles* The devil... *is staring wide-eyed* What if Perceptor really isn't being given a choice? Unicron was controlling him! Only none of the Autobot's would ever think of it because he betrayed them! They'd probably all hate his guts and be out to kill him, only he didn't have a choice and they were probably the closest friends he's had in his life because of Unicron! Which means that the real Perceptor is probably dang close to being suicidal but can't actually go through with it since he can't control his own body! ...Oh gods. The bunnies from this post just keep getting bigger and bigger and I think I've officially given up on resisting them. *carts bunny off*

Optimus: *squints at the very fine print and reads allowed* "Once signed, the transfer is permanent and cannot be undone, regardless of whether or not all information about the one being transfered is made available."
Ultra Magnus: "See? Your problem."

And how long would he have been controlled? Even if not directly controlling him, Unicron could have set things up to get Perceptor to go in the directions he wanted. Encouraging his interest in science, making sure he was accepted to the best schools, the best jobs (and if there were no job openings, arranging accidents to create job openings), guiding his every step... And finally, finally when Perceptor is where he can do the most damage... Unicron takes full control.

Elita: "I still don't know if we imagined those or if Perceptor made them..."
