Not the first, but I'd like to see it beyond ideas or short scenes. Sora and company wind up in the movie-verse and after discovering the wonders of hacking the Internet (because Dale either got way too nosy or REALLY lucky, much to Chip's disgust/chagrin, even for a Gummi-ship mechanic), they're turned into TFs. Donald into an imported Honda CBR1100XX Blackbird (for a bit of irony, the Suzuki Hayabusa AKA GSX1300R), Goofy picking a Hummer HX (the NEST Hummers in ROTF; or something more beefier), and Sora a Nissan GT-R. Hinjinks ensue on them having to learn to work within NEST's rules - AFTER getting shot at during their first Decepticon encounter - as well working NEST through how to handle Heartless and Nobodies, especially of the transforming variety.
Kudos points if the author is able to blend in explanations regarding Disneyland and its properties. ;) And MAYBE a little interference from the Matrix or All Spark.
To add some TF -relation, Dale was voiced by Corey Burton. :D
BW/Final Fantasy VII
Or FFVIII, for that matter, both of them being the most "modern" of the series. Heck, FFX! If only to freak out Wakka even more on "machina that are actually ALIVE!". How compatible would TFs be if equipped with materai? (Extra points if including the Geek Squad.) If Junctioned with magic or even Drawing magic? The thought of pyreflies becoming Unsent and combining into Fiends, as well the Farplane (shades of the Well of Allsparks, anyone). Beast Wars, Beast Machines, Beast Wars II, and Beast Wars Neo, take your pick - depending on how well verse in those guys you are. :)
