Never Underestimate Earth or Her Organics...

Especially when they've been pushed too far.

1. Gaea, the spirit of the Earth, is awakened by cultists to protect them/drive away the hostile alien robots (i.e. the Decepticons) from the planet. Once she wakes up and sees what's been going on, Gaea then drags Primus (probably in astral form) in front of the Autobots and Decepticons during a battle and berates him in front of them all, scolding him for not keeping better control of his children and letting things get so bad on Him/Cybertron that they had to bring their childish fights to Her.

A. Do you think the Decepticons (or even the Autobots for that matter) will want to stay on Earth after seeing their Creator get treated like that by the spirit of said planet?

B. Especially when Unicron's astral form came to point and laugh at his brother for being chastised like a sparkling by a relatively younger planet in front of his kids, and said planet then bitch-slaps him and kicks him in the (metaphorical) crotch, and basically scares him away in front of said kids.

Random Decepticon (maybe Starscream or Skywarp): "Last one over the Space Bridge back to Cybertron is a rusted-out diode!"

2. After seeing as how any advances in science would only just aid, prove useless against, or be destroyed by the Decepticons, some people turned to magic/the supernatural/the paranormal to fight against them.

A. The Art of Magic, that was once a fading/dying force, is revived. That means the practices of Alchemy, Necromancy, Spirit/Creature Summoning, etc. have been taken up again, and have proven to be effective against the Decepticons.

B. As a result, more rifts/portals/etc. are being formed from our realm to other astral planes or demonic/spiritual realms. How do you think the Decepticons would be able to handle demons or ghosts, especially those that can eat spirits or souls like Japanese gaki? Would they find Cybertronian sparks tasty and easier to consume than human souls?

C. People with ESP abilities like telekinesis, telepathy, clairvoyance, etc. would be highly sought to help detect/combat the Decepticons, especially those with technopathy.

3. Since technological advances haven't proven effective against the 'Con, mankind instead turns to biological/genetic research. That means...

A. Beasts and monsters genetically created to combat giant robots and their advanced arsenal, à la Resident Evil's Umbrella Corporation.

B. Some scientific studies have been concentrated on ways to make humans stronger, faster, able to heal quicker, or consume anything for sustenance. In other words, even if the Decepticons have somehow won, the human race won't just disappear.

I would especially like to see 2A take place where the Decepticons have either a.) arrived on Earth before the Autobots, or b.) have somehow defeated the Autobots. I can just see Megatron standing and gloating over a seemingly conquered human population (and maybe the Autobots as well), unaware of the huge dragon that has just been summoned to deal with him and the Decepticons.

Megatron: "I've won! Bwahahahahahahahahahah... *Ugrh!*" *is stepped on/eaten/incinerated by huge summoned dragon*
Autobots: O_O
Decepticons: O_O;;; *right before they run screaming from said dragon*
Dragon's Summoner: "Whelp," *wipes hands together in satisfaction* "that's the end of that! Who's up for lunch?"
Autobots: @_@;;

What would be a bonus is if some of the human magic practitioners decide to teach the Autobots magic, and some of them turn out to be really good at it! 'Bots like Jazz, Hound, and Beachcomber would be very good at magic that utilizes Earth's energies/energies of living things. Ratchet would be a natural Healer, and I can see Optimus as a very talented Medium due to the Matrix. And what about the 'bots whom no one thought would have any magical talent at all? For some reason, I can picture Prowl being a great alchemist, á la Fullmetal Alchemist style.

autobots, magic, earth, prowl, humans, decepticons, jazz
