I personally imagined the Transformers to be humanized, but it could work with them being robots too.

Casettes can combine and change form like the three head thingies (LOL).
Sort of like in 2007!Movie verse, Optimus Prime is Megatron's sibling. Optimus Prime = Granny.
MAJOR BONUS POINTS for TFA Blitzwing as No Face. BOTH OF THEM ARE BIPOLAR, THAT'S MY LOGIC. /fail
Autobot(s) of your choice get trapped there, though I can see Bumblebee the best just because he fits wayyy too well.
This could probably work in any 'verse, though I see it more in TFA or G1.
