Spawned from a dream
This came from a dream that surprisingly had something of a story to it that also made sense.
The usual G1 load are on Earth, but something (could be a serious change in political climate or something else) has forced the Autobots to spread out all over the planet and hide, obviously as various vehicles. Most, if not all of them end up with owners and even to them they do not reveal what they really are. Sunstreaker ends up being owned by a teenager from a rich family and Tracks ends up being bought by a female lawyer. (Interestingly enough, in the dream she looked a lot like Freema Agyeman.)
One day Tracks and Sunstreaker end up on the same road, with Sunstreaker in front. They instantly recognize each other and end up having a race. Clearly, without their human drivers consent. While trying to pass Sunstreaker, Tracks scratches Sunstreaker's paint job blatantly, noisily and badly. This pisses off sunstreaker immensely and, still in car form, end up having something of a fight in a wider section of the road. During this the lawyer woman gets roughly thrown out of Tracks and ends up in the way of Sunstreaker, who's driver got flung to the side and is trying to reach for the handbrake to force him to stop.
The two humans are now out of their cars and are a safe-ish distance away, watching the two still fight it out.
Here the dream got really really fuzzy and ended not long after.
What happens from there on can be whatever the hell you want. If you decide to use it.
