Some more bunnies

And a big welcome to the latest new bunny-farmers!

1. Wall-E.

A. A crossover.

B. The robots in Wall-E ‘kiss’ by sending a tiny spark from one robot’s head to another, right above the eyes. Since there’s no real reason for Transformers to have much feeling in their mouths, perhaps they use something similar as a sign of affection. It’s really like a smaller-scale version of spark-bonding, right?

C. The ‘Eve’ probe model kind of reminds me of what a sparkling Seeker might be like.

2. This would probably be really hard to write in fic form but… what if all the Transformers were mute?

3. When Orion Pax became Optimus, Orion stuck around as an alternate personality. But he only comes out when:

A. Optimus undergoes extreme stress.

B. Optimus experiences relaxation and freedom from stress, or is ‘off-duty’.

C. Optimus sees Megatron.

D. Optimus fights Megatron.

E. Optimus sees Elita-1.

F. Optimus sees/interacts with humans.

4. What if the whole Autobot X incident resulted in Spike’s death?

5. G1 Grimlock switches places with TF:A Grimlock.

6. Animated-verse. Lockdown gives up on Prowl and goes after Jazz instead.

7. He was the only Decepticon who realized just how dangerous the Autobots could be if they just got their act together, directing and fully using their various talents.

8. The Decepticon who is most capable of exploiting human nature, and thus closest to conquering Earth, isn’t Megatron. It’s Swindle.

9. The officers of both factions finally give in to despair and apathy, leaving the grunts floundering in the sudden absence of leadership.

10. (G1-verse, inspired by Megatron’s lovely crest-thingy in the Megatron Origin comic)
       A. There’s a secret Decepticon conspiracy going around and everyone but Megatron knows about it. The little ‘contest’ is based on finding the answers to two critical questions: does their Glorious Leader’s helmet actually come off (They’ve never seen it off…)? And if it does, what’s under there? Starscream is determined to win, believing that if he can find out such personal information about Megatron, it will prove his superiority… somehow… while Soundwave was aloof until he realized that Megatron kept these answers shielded more securely in his mind than other sensitive information.
       B. Directly contradicting A: Megatron does take off his helmet, in the (relative) safety of the Decepticon base, whenever he feels stressed and knows there’s a processor-ache coming on. This is a problem at the weekly movie nights - because of course, as leader of the Decepticons, the glorious Megatron gets the best seat in the house.

Random Decepticon: Hey! Down in front!
Megatron: *twitches crest irritably*

C. Suppose Megatron thought - or was raised to believe - that his pretty crest was some sort of horrific aberration, and that’s why he wore the helmet? Sort of a Phantom-of-the-Opera type thing. Then when it comes off by accident one day, he misinterprets why everyone on the battlefield is gaping at him.

11. Soundwave has many cassettes, and they all tend to get in trouble in their various ways. Megatron decides that in order to keep them under control, he should bring in another Decepticon tapedeck to take half of them off Soundwave’s hands. And so he does this. Without telling Soundwave first. Could be AU!Blaster or an OC.

12. Animated. Instead of being a traitor, Longarm Prime/Shockwave actually has multiple personality disorder.

13. Crossover with the Iron Giant (is that what the movie was called?) Maybe replace Spike and Sparkplug with the kid in that movie?

Kid: “Megatron! It’s bad to kill. Guns kill. And you don’t have to be a gun! You are what you choose to be!”

Megatron: *confused*

14. What if Spike chose to attach himself (all leech-like) to a different Autobot then Bumblebee? (Maybe one who didn’t actually like him? Or a grumpier one like Ratchet.)

15. G1. The big crash on Earth damaged the TFs’ language functions. Their understanding of English isn’t very good - it’s filtered through the context of Cybertronian and other planetary languages they’ve learned - so when they speak, they sound like really badly-dubbed anime… all the time.

16. Slouched near the back of the briefing room, the ‘Con suddenly sat up as he realized something. He wasn’t sure what had tipped him off: a slight waver in the voice, or a gesture which didn’t seem quite right… Now, normally you could tell, even in a normal mission briefing, how much Megatron really, fanatically believed in the Decepticon cause. Ironically, every word he spoke to his troops (orders, threats, boasts of victory) had a ring of truth, no matter what the situation. Today, however, the ‘Con was absolutely positive that Megatron was knowingly, flat-out lying to his troops.

17. Some TFs play the ‘If our whole race was wiped out except for you and one other Cybertronian, who would you want to repopulate Cybertron with?’ game.

18. The Autobots discover a slight discrepancy in their stored-energon records. Further investigation reveals a stowaway creature from Cybertron which was knocked into stasis and revived along with the ‘Bots and ‘Cons.

A. It’s a fierce, nasty kind of beast, so everyone is baffled when the humans somehow befriend it -  even referring to it as ‘adorable’ and other such words.

B. It’s an annoying pest, akin to Earth’s rats - and it’s also just the right size to carry a human (like a horse would).

19. Starscream’s vocalizer somehow gets fixed, so his voice isn’t as screechy anymore.

A. It’s so weird for him and for everyone else that he eventually just breaks it again on purpose and everything goes back to normal.

B. He doesn’t want to give it up, but it’s still annoying when he comms another Decepticon and they think it’s an Autobot playing a prank.

C. Since Cybertronian names are based on individuals’ characteristics, Starscream:

1) Reverts to a previous name

2) Has to think of a new one

20. In the history of the Decepticon rumor mill, the idea of a disguised femme within the ranks has been around for longer than anyone can remember. Soundwave and Starscream - the two most frequent targets of the “who’s the femme?” rumor (one because of ‘maternal’ treatment of his cassettes and the other for… various reasons) - get exasperated enough to investigate. Combing forgotten records and fragments of old reports, the two discover - together or separately - that the hidden femme is, in fact, Megatron.
