1. Optimus and Megatron hang around after their deaths in ghost form, feeling like they can’t pass on until they see what becomes of their factions and their life’s work.

I imagine Megatron would be very very angry at Galvatron's bungling. Optimus would probably be far more charitable towards Rodimus, especially since it seems that Roddy actually makes a some decent progress in rebuilding Cybertron, and despite the occasional lament about not living up to Optimus, was a fairly decent leader.

4. The famous ‘mass-shifting’ goes horribly wrong somehow. Soundwave now transforms from a tiny mech into a huge tapedeck, Megatron transforms from a human-sized gun into a gestalt-sized mech, etc.

Soundwave turning into a giant tapedeck I see as possible (slag, Perceptor is known for turning into a Cybertronian-sized microscope, why can't Sound be a Cybertronian-sized micro-cassette player?), but Megatron... well I don't think it's possible for any mass-shifter to become bigger than their total mass. For Megs to be gestalt-sized, he'd have to be subspacing the mass of a gestalt, which I doubt he is, or he'd show it. Subspacing some mass in robot mode? Possible - the few pictures I've seen of miner!Megs or gladiator!Megs make him look bulkier than he is later on.

5. There’ve been enough fics about Sam becoming the Allspark and/or turning into a Cybertronian to wallpaper my room. How ‘bout a fic where Sam becomes the Prime?

I want to see it.

6. (Any ‘verse with the Allspark/Matrix/Ightymay Otplay Eviceday). What if when the abovementioned artifact is destroyed and scatters across the city/world/galaxy, it doesn’t just animate machinery but actually creates magical artifacts?

*Insert long boring thoughts about how magic works in what is technically a sci-fi 'verse.*

9. Unicron explodes! Over time, the shattered pieces are drawn to Cybertron (or Earth).

Cybertron - Unicron's spark survives by fleeing to Cybertron and taking up residence with Primus (who he is far less antagonistic with in any of my ideas)... and somehow his bits follow.

11. Cyclonus gets sent back in time, to when Megatron still led the Decepticons on Earth. [Snip!]

I want to see this - with all the parts somehow included.

14. One of the flying mechs has a phobia of clouds, birds, or kites.

I can imagine it would be rather upsetting for a flying Cybertronian to have a mid-air collision with a bird. I've seen pictures of some of the damage that does to planes - suffice to say the mech would be in medical for a while.

21. AU. After being woken, Skyfire stayed with the Decepticons…

C. …because unlike in canon, Starscream actually remembered the secret language that the two of them had invented when they were sparklings, and used it to both warn Skyfire that not all was as it appeared, and reassure him that Starscream hadn’t entirely changed.

I like this variation, it fits with my fondness for competent!Scream.

22. If the factions were divided differently… All the older Cybertronians, vs. all the younger ones.

In a way, it is, but in a more ideological manner.

23. The Decepticons’ equivalent of the Autobots’ “make Prowl crash” game: the “make Soundwave either slip out of monotone or say something hilarious in it” game.

That would be hilarious - I collect the Doctor Who box sets and on the first disk of series 3 is a doco about a DW concert. One of the background things was of the guy who does the Dalek voices fooling around during practice. It's utterly silly listening to him do daft stuff in Dalek voice, through the voice changer he uses.

30. After returning to Cybertron, some mechs get depressed without the sun.

Time to move the planet to a proper orbit! Primus will be happy.

40. Someone tries to categorize the different types of glitches and treatment methods.

There's plenty amongst the Autobots, and a fair few in the Decepticons as well.

41. Primus didn’t choose to take planet form… he was cursed, to remain like that for ‘x’ amount of time or until a certain event happened.

C. He and Unicron were both cursed at the same time, and after the curse unravels Unicron seeks him out, and is surprised to find that

1) Primus died while in planet form

There was a bunny at one point about Unicron coming to save the Cybertronian people, who were clinging, scared, to Primus's dead body.

2) Primus is refusing to change back, because he doesn’t want to harm the Cybertronians living on him and/or deprive them of the only home they’ve ever known

This I imagine as the most likely.

3) Primus can’t remember how to transform back

Or he can't transform because the Cybertronians have built over large areas that are transformation seams, and if he did while those are still there, he'd tear himself apart.

D. Remaining in planet form, Primus watches with sorrow as the rest of his kind dies out; eventually only he and Unicron remain, the last of a once-great race. The Cybertronians were intended to be simple memorials of Primus’ species; he didn’t expect them to become sentient.

Makes me think of my personal cosmology (short version: they're energy beings from the dawn of the universe, forced to take material bodies to survive), and that maybe in his wanderings, Unicron has found that all their race-mates he knew of have all died, one way or another.

I also have this mental image of him coming back to find Primus's "memorial" and going all ga-ga over how cute the Cybertronians are.

48. Optimus and Megatron (or Blaster and Soundwave?) are technically the legal guardians of all the youngest mechs in their faction, since they were orphaned by the war and came to the army not only because they believed in the cause, but also because they needed energy & protection.

How about both? Optimus and Megatron act as legal guardian to under-age standard-sized mechs, while Blaster and Soundwave adopted microbots to care for them.

I'm also imagining Optimus as Hot Rod's legal guardian.

50. “You dissected the Matrix?!”

Primus is NOT HAPPY.

52. Soundwave captures Blaster and makes him into a cassette.

53. Blaster captures Soundwave and makes him into a cassette.

So would they also adopt the other's cassettes at the same time?

*Personally likes the Blaster version more - especially if Blaster does it illicitly.*

54. Can one mech ‘subspace’ another mech of the same size or larger?

Saw that in a fic - it was smut, where Megatron asks Soundwave to subspace him in gun-form, then find a way to overload.

55. Primus, like Unicron, has a big scary munching mouth. He just doesn’t use it as often.

Reminds me of aleph_abyssal's side-notes about The World Translated Thus. She said Primus was most likely a world-eater like Unicron.

59. The Seekers see some of those little mini spy-planes and think they’re just adorable.

...And they decide they want to kidnap some and make them into working, sparked mechs.
