TFA: A Past Prime
This is a special sequal to TFA: The Spirit is the Spark. Optimus has long forgotten his role as a leader, and an autobot. He had forgotten what it even means to be cybertronian. 22 steller cycles pass, and he's human, with a wife and daughter.
...I was curious to see how exactly a giant robot could forget how to be a giant robot and turn into human. There had to be some serioues hardcore amnesia inducing transfiguration shit going on. So, figured I'd brave the first chapter and...I never did find the answer.
From what I could understand, Prowl's non-Jazz girlfriend OC sparkmate creature is Optimus Prime's sister (One of those Sues who's related to every character that is remotely interesting) and is providing the narrative, which is really confusing and unclear and the character was probably tripping balls. The gist that I could make out is that the Bots have built themselves a machine that allows them to control human bodies, OP fell in love with a human that his sister hated, Sentinel forced him to choose between the girl or the team, OP chooses the girl, knocked her up and then gets a job at Sumdac industries.
Confused? Brace yourself for the writing itself. In bold and brackets is my thought process while reading it.

The drums of an internal battle raged, the footsteps of a thousand thoughts raced to battle. The termoil and anguish raged on, creating a never ending fire from the depths below. A call penetrates through all of these things, only to be beat back down into the pit, back where it does not belong. The Spark beats with the drums of this war, however, finally going out like a burnt out light before the battle even begins. The soaring birds of fears, mermories you wish had never been made, and the dread of the impending end come like a never ending rain. This is the voice of the war within, a war that only you can fight, and that you will always loose...
22 steller cycles, 22 long agonizing solar cycles had passed since I had gone on that cross country road trip to save Franchesca, 22 solar cycles since I had fallen into that howling snow, and never got to say goodbye to my little friend. 22 solar cycles since I spoke about that stupid machine. (So confused. What is going on? Who is Francesca? What was all that crazy imagery at the beginning? Is the character on drugs? I think the character is on drugs, big difference between stellar cycle and solar cycles. TFA Stellar cycle ~ 1 year, solar cycle ~ 1 day. )
I had called it the link system, and it had given us the ability to link to human bodies of our own. It let us blend in, study human society inside, and also alloweled us to loose our leader. It had taken me 3 steller cycles to build it once I had the clearence, just 4 steller cycles after I had lost Franchesca. I still kept an eye on her, even today, but I had finally gotten on with life, and was happy. Me and Prowl had officially become Sparkmates, and were maybe even thinking about creating a protoform from both of our DNA sequences in the near future. Sari wasn't growing very fast so was still 14 and was going to be for a while, but just a single steller cycle after having finished the link system, Optimus met her... (Thought Cybertronians have CNA. So. Prowl and who? Jazz? Is this Jazz narrating? There are much easier ways to mention that Sari hasn't aged. It took Jazz three days to build a machine that connects them to human bodies. This machine persumably doesn't provide them with bodies. Are they highjacking humans now? Whatever happened to freedom is the right of all sentients?)
She was average by human standerds, plain straw colored hair and brown eyes, her skin didn't have to many freckles, and her hair was somewhat hard to manage, but to Optimus, she was the most beautiful thing in the world. He had pretty much gotten over Elite-1 by now, but when this started, it only brought us a world of pain and a circle of hatred. He went everywhere he could with her, taking her to movies and restruaunts, and eventaully , our base. When she found out who he was, instead of running, she hugged him, saying she loved him even more. (You have got to be kidding me. Seriously. That is so...wow. Just wow. These characters are...am I really reading about giant robots???? I don't think this is Jazz narrating...)
I had hoped that maybe she would leave, and we would get Optimus back, considering he had neglectted us for so long, and then, she got pregnant. Optimus had gone one night to her house, and things got a little strange, and one month later, that woman found she was carrying his child. She was happy for him, but then Sentinal found out. (So, these can't be robo-organic bodies if they can knock up humans with them. Whose bodies have they been stealing? What sort of person accepts a man who says, 'By the way, I'm actually a giant robot inhabiting this body? Wanna go out with me?')
Optimus was forced to make a choice, choose between his team, his family, or the woman he loved, and guess what? He chose that woman...(Well. Someone sounds upset)
He name was Cherece, and when Optimus moved in with her, he used to come over ever day to the base, say hello, even hang out with us. Over time, contact with him became so scarce, we were lucky if he even looked at us in vehicle mode. I had not much left for Optimus, except an empty spark, sad to loose my best friend, and who I once had thought could be my brother. (OH. It's one of those sister OC things. Well, it's a relief Jazz isn't narrating this. Wait, I'm supposed to be feeling sorry that OP has abandoned the team? It's got a Sue in it...I'm quite cool with it.)
When the child was born, she looked just like her father, her hair a light brown, but her eyes were green, a simple hazelish-green. Her face heartshaped, and a soft nose. She had long eye lashes, making her look adorable at any age, and also softening my spark towards her. Optimus introduced the young human to us, just shortly after she was born, bringing his wife with us, but it didn't turn out to well. (I don't recall Optimus having light brown hair, green eyes and a heartshaped face. There is no reason for a robot to have maternal instincts and even if it did, they would be directed at members of the same species.)
No one really acknowledged the poor child, let alone the couple. I had to, as well as Prowl, becuase I knew something that no one else did, this child was meant to do something, and Cherece and Optimus would shove her heritage down into a dark dank closet, away and forgotten forever. (If the child's parents are both humans, shouldn't that mean the girl will remain human? Please don't tell me she'll somehow have a robot body. PLEASE.)
I was the only to speak them, and was branded a traitor for a week for doing so, but what I said, unbranded me as well, "I want to be her guardian..." and thus, snow began to fall out beyond the base, lightly touching the ground, but most of it melting on contact. To me, snow symbolized to much for my spark to take, so I looked away, and down to the girl.
I put my finger down to her as I kneeled, letting her try and grab it with her exceptianlly tiny hand, and made me smile, making me whisper a name, "Moon Blazer..."
(WHAAAAAT did I just read. There's symbolism and then there's ridiculousness and going overboard with the imagery. And...did the Sue just get forgiven because she took up guardianship of the child of the ostracised couple when talking to them incurs being branded a traitor? Consistency. PLEASE.)
