I don't...can't do this. Ugh.
I present Nexus for careful perusal.
An M-rated TF Prime/DMC crossover -- I'm guessing that to be Devil May Cry, but seeing as I've never played the game, I ignored that aspect, knowing full well that there would likely be references to occurrences/activities that I wouldn't understand. I'm OK with that, under most circumstances. A good story carries itself without need for everything to be explained.
M-rated stories can have material that is potentially controversial. Sensitive subject matters. I'm OK with that. I understand that.
The preface isn't anything special. Not great, not horrid. Figured three short chapters, clicked next to see if it was worth my extended time...
He had to die first, and he knew this too. She had told him so in her explanation the previous night.
"Jack, you already have red eyes, you need to finish the transformation." she said quietly. "I can give you enough sleeping pills so it'll be painless and I can finish working on the wound."
Jack was silent. He really didn't wanna die, but hopefully this would be the only time he did die. At least for a very long time.
"I'll take the pills."
It didn't take long for Jack to die and for June to get the metal thing lodged in his chest out. It turned out to be a rather large piece of metal that had June wincing since it was covered in her son's blood.
