I think this may very well be the first time he's ever been innocent- no, that's definitely not the right word. Let's use "not the perpetrator of this particular crime, this time" instead. XD

the first person perspective on this piece was awesome. it's a nice change up from the usual fic fare and it never felt forced. *thumbs up*

Beastbox is just so bad at being an interrogator that I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to make fun of him, especially since Vortex probably giggles hysterically whenever his name comes up. :P

Funny fact: I started writing this in third person, past tense. About three paragraphs in, I realized I was referring to Vortex as "I." I change it, type for a while, and it keeps happening. So I give in, go for first person, past tense. About half way though, the Vortex-muse insists on present tense. Repeat above. XD

A berth, a cube, and a datapad full of Beastbox's reports = Comedy movie night for the bored interrogator. I have a feeling the rest of the Combaticons don't appreciate this as much as Vortex, what with them having to put up with Vortex's reinactments the next day. "I'll tell you anything! Then WHAM, no more vocalizer. Woopsies!" Cue hysterical laughter from Vortex while everyone else looks at him funny. XP
