Summary: Starscream sets out to teach Blackout a lesson, but the lesson Blackout learns is not the one Starscream meant. Oneshot Blackout POV fic, set during the prequel novel.

A/N - A little POV ficlet set in the middle of the prequel novel, Ghosts of Yesterday.

Oh my God, it's like an hour later an I cannot stop thinking about that phrase and the sheer sense it doesn't make! I had to double back and make sure that nascent meant what I thought it did!

This is making me want to hunt down the prequel novel even more. You've got a great way of showing the characters' personalities (instead of telling us what they are) and that makes this very, very interesting.
