That's really cute.

Good luck with your seach it's really, really hard to find info on that name. It's becoming far more common then it was when I was a kid. Which I'm not sure if I'm happy or sad about. ^.^;

Mikaela is actually a feminine version of Michael. Bible name, Hebrew, meaning, ah, *thinks* "who resembles God." I bet it's hard to find personalized school supplies and such with Mikaela on them. I know it's difficult to find "Melody."

I meant that most sites don't even have Mikaela listed as a name. Until in the past few years has it started to be listed on name sites.

Yes, it's a feminine version of Michael, which means "El's Likeness" or "Who is like God", basically. In Hebrew it's מִיכָאֵל

It wouldn't surprise me at all if the name was chosen as a shout out to Michael Bay.

Banes = very close to Bay

totally OT here, but is it just me, or does one of the last few frames of Cade transforming sort of flash a human skull in place of a headlight? take a look! it's neat!
or was that on purpose?
