Warnings/Notes:Soundwave-centric, this fic is the immediate sequel to 'Crescendo' in the 'Sound and Fury' series. It takes place in the same continuity as 'Giants of the Earth', but is set hundreds of thousands of years earlier, on prewar Cybertron. The character designs, for the most part, are movie-verse with the addition of G1 colors and minor modifications as needed. Warnings for canon-typical violence for this chapter.
An orange face, upside-down, popped out of the tangle of arms and legs. “Hey hey you guys quit kicking you gotta move this over here and then -- oh, hi! You’re late. You’re supposed to be down in the bays with the others.” Tiny amber optics blinked all in sequence as the little mech focused on all the gaping mecha. An arm waved at them from the flailing knot of spindly frame parts.
“What the frag is that?!” whispered one of the gaping civilian mecha.
