Teaser: Optimus, and the rest of the Autobots confront Cyclonus, but the skirmish that follows doesn't go as planned.
For the sake of those who remained behind at the base- the Sparklings, the other Autobots, and the humans-and everyone living on the planet, he had to try to end this now, peacefully, or otherwise. If the Decepticons were successful in reviving Megatron, Earth would be in danger long before Unicron even reached the solar system.
I should also mention that the Prologue and Chapters 1-17 have been revised and edited. Due to the changes that were made, I hilly recommend going back and rereading the entire story, so as to avoid confusion in future chapters.
