Blaster had been flying through space for what seemed like half of forever since he'd picked up Prime's signal. That had probably been on of the happiest days of his life since Prime had split up their company to scout the universe for the Allspark. The sheer relief at knowing that at least some of his fellows were still active had nearly off-

Mirage, this is Blaster. I read you loud and clear. Man is it good to hear a friendly voice. What are your coordinates? I am headed due south, and have access to multiple maps and navigation systems. It won't be too hard to find you. Over.
[..//END COMM//..]
Blaster's spark thrilled at hearing a comrade's voice. Finally. He had been stuck out in space for far too long.
The communications officer felt his on-board translator kick in as he began downloading the languages of the planet, scrolling through his native Cybertronian and coding them into their closest translations. By the time he was finished he would be able to host the entire UN on his own.
Cranking up the volume on the radio, Blaster zipped through the stations, feeling his circuitry glowing with an eager happiness he hadn't felt in a long time. He was really going to see his fellow Autobots again. Mirage's voice in his audio's had made that undeniably real within the past few moments.

Is that all that's damaged? I'm heading onto I-87 now, so meet me at these coordinates. ((they'll be for a rest stop just off the highway, okay?)) I'm traveling just over the speed limit to avoid detection, and there is human traffic on the motorway. My ETA to the rendezvous point should be 35 minutes, earth time. Here's a little driving music mech, so just follow your audios. *laughter before "I Can't Drive 55" echoes down the comm*

With Mirage injured, even if it was minor, Blaster did not want to keep the other mech waiting.
Pushing his own lacking speed abilities, he zipped in and around the highway traffic, making a beeline for the rest stop exit he'd transmitted to the other Autobot.

Blaster had been cooling his wheels for not long at all before the sleek blue and white CCXR rolled into the rest stop parking lot, looking distinctly out of place. The Terran internet was a wonderful thing.
Turning down the radio, the communications officer opened up another comm channel between himself and Mirage.
[..//SECURE CHANNEL//..]
*modulates a wolf whistle at the other mech* Nice frame, Mirage. Won't get you noticed at all. *laughs and searches for a song, playing a quick snatch of "Sex on Wheels"* Glad to see you're intact though man. You know what hit you anyway? Because I haven't had a single evil purple blip anywhere on my scanners since I touched down.

The red Autobot did admire the sleek frame that Mirage had chosen. It was very graceful, unlike his own blocky one. Then again, Blaster wasn't entirely used to being a mobile vehicle mode. He normally chose something that furthered his communications abilities, but for the sake of mobility now he had needed wheels.

Lead on man, I'll be right behind ya. Just don't strain yourself too much, cuz I'm no medic.
[..//END COMM//..]
Blaster couldn't help but stare down at where he wasn't for a moment after transforming. This was his first time being invisible, and it sorta freaked him out.
"I don't know how you deal with this man, it's way too weird. I know I'm here, but I can't see me," the red mech muttered to his companion, while following him into the clearing.
A slightly perturbed look crossed Blaster's faceplate at Mirage's words. "That's not cool, man. Not cool at all. You know, you're the only one who picked up my signal, and I sent that out wide for a reason. I really hope Prime and the others are okay." The serious tone was at odds with the brash red mech's normally cheerful personality; a testament to how disturbed he was by the lack of communication.
"Did you get any response back, besides me," he asked, gesturing for Mirage to seat himself on the grass. "Let me get ya opened up here and see what's what."
Kneeling his large frame down by the blue and white mech, Blaster used the tools worked into his right hand to open the casing of the disruptor so he could look it over.
Bringing up his left hand, the mech opened his digits to reveal a myriad of different connectors and jacks. Selecting the proper one, he paused before initiating the connection.
"Brace yourself man."
Inserting the connector, and at the prompt, Blaster jolted the EMP into Mirage's disruptor, the force of it making his digits tingle.
It was a moment before he disengaged the connection, nodding to the other mech. "Power it up. See if you need another while we got the time to do it."
(( /ramble XD))

Well, that wasn't supposed to happen! *laughter* Sorry I rang your bell so hard man, didn't mean to. I'm gonna poke around with the disruptor some more, if you don't mind, while we wait. I'm thinking that it just needs to be recalibrated, and I can do that pretty quick. 'Scool?
[..//END COMM//..]
The red mech walked forward on his knees to where the now transformed supercar, the disruptor well disguised as part of the sleek frame. Since he was still currently invisible, it would be very easy to get this work done. All he had to do was wait for Mirage's permission.
Blaster wasn't the politest of mechs, but even he had enough couth to wait for the okay before poking around in someone else's business.

"And I wouldn't ask you to man. I'll do what I can here, but when we hook up with the others, you gotta have Ratchet take a gander at it." All of the slang he'd downloaded from the internet was already invading his speech pattern and making it even more colorful than before.
He set to work on the disruptor again, running a basic diagnostic on the thing this and keeping his mental fingers crossed that his original ham-handed attempt at fixing it hadn't damaged Mirage further.
Optics widened as a crackle of noise echoed in his audios and a moment later Blaster gave Mirage a huge smile. "Dude! I just got contact! Elita-1's on Earth!"
His attention turned inward to the comm with the femme commander, before looking back at the spy with a huge grin on his faceplate. "Okay man, I'm gonna recalibrate your targeting parameters, but that's all I can do. Some of the wiring looks a little fritzy, so you gotta check in with Doc Ratch when we hit base, kay?"
The comms officer made short work of the recalibration, closed up the disruptor and gave it a satisfactory pat. "Alright man, let's roll on outta here!" The red mech was bubbling over with excitement and anticipation. He was more than eager to get on the road again and hook up with the rest of his unit.
