With Easter rapidly approaching and mum bringing out the decorations, Lotus and I got bored
First off he sat in my lap and I gave him a biology lesson. You know, egg --> chicken --> cock. Um. We never got to the "what came first?" part.
We had 3 eggs and 2 chickens to play with, and when you tell a story the characters need names. And when I tell a story the names are always Benji and Joel. The leftover egg was Josh. He's green, and never hatched for some reason we're still not quite clear about.
Anyways, this is Benji and Joel;
As eggs & chicks.
The story turned into a pretty complex one when egg!Joel wanted to be a ballerina (you should see him do his pirouettes). No one had told him that he was a boy. Understandably this was confusing for him since he's a pink egg, I mean come on. After that we touched upon him being the gayest straight egg ever, but of course that's just a convenient excuse, then we got mixed up in the lemon-grape! discussion regarding Benji's ...egg and I had to stop telling the story fearing that Lotus ears might fall off.. :/
