There are so many good aspects and bad aspects to my past week or so, and since I'm really positive about the good, I'm gunna save it for the last. Besides, ending on bad notes is icky :p
So, I was supposed to leave on Feb. 8th for New York, but an evil blizzard came and cancelled my flight, so I couldn't get out until Sunday. That was fine, and at the time I was upset, but now that I'm home, it wasn't such a bad thing.
I missed some of my shopping to take a make-up bus tour, since the original one was supposed to take place on Sunday and I missed it because I was a day late arriving. 5th Avenue was so awesome, too ;_;
I was gone for mine and Ian's 10-month-iversary, and for Valentine's Day as well. Massive suckage :(
I got sick while I was there. It started with a headache, which I took Aleve for and it went away. Then I went on stage to perform and ended up having to run offstage, only to end up fainting. Oh boy.
I remained sick for all the flights home, so my ears wouldn't pop. Ouch.
I'm still sick now, so I can't visit my uncle in hospital. This is probably what upsets me the most.
One thing made me angry about the whole week. Paul has his online site, with his journal on it, and blah blah blah, whatever. He always writes on it how much he doesn't care about other people and their thoughts/opinions/whatever. Yet, he waits until I leave to start bashing my boyfriend in multiple posts. Three words come to mind: What the fuck?
But now, for the good. New York was a lot of fun. I stayed in a hotel room with Abra, Laura, and Sarah, and it was very awesome. Maybe sometime in the future, the 4 of us can go somewhere on vacation together, just to relax and have fun. How awesome would that be :D
I bought some clothes and miscellanious things, but not too many. My parents gave me US money from their bank account, and because they had already paid for the trip, I felt really guilty, and refused to spend a lot of their money. So, I bought whatever looked nice and was on sale. I feel good :)
I saw The Phantom of the Opera and Aida when there, 2 very awesome Broadway musicals. I love musicals. I passed up seeing Les Mis, because it cost too much, although I never realized that it's closing in March. :p
On Valentine's Day, out of their own pocket money, the boys in the choir gave all the girls roses, each girl getting either a pink, white, yellow, or red rose. That totally made my day a whole lot better. So sweet :)
And then my boyfriend suprised me by coming to the airport, when he said he wouldn't be able to make it because of MUN. I was so happy. I love hugs :)
And now I'm here. I never went to school today, because I'm still sick, and it just wasn't worth going in for a halfday. I got an 81 in my report card, even with the 65 in Math. Kick ass.
I'm going in to work tonight while my parents go in for a parent-teacher interview with my Math teacher. But before that, my bestest friend ever is coming over after she's done school, and I'm gunna give her her gift. I think she'll like it :p
Now I gotta go and eat something, because I haven't eaten lunch yet.
I think happiness prevails :D
