Yukimura
Halloween was... interesting. I have never been a frequent patron of Lady's Kiss, and even less so after that attack long ago, but going with Yukimura made me feel at ease. It wasn't that he was the clan's leader or that he has overwhelming power, it's the attention he gives me. The fact that I don't just get lost as part of the crowd when I am with him.
Wearing lace and velvet was strange, but amusing, in a good way. But I guess I wasn't very good at pretending to be a vampire.
This afternoon I met up with Renji Yanagi, one of the classmates from acturial sciences. I was worried before the meeting, but he was easy to talk to, and obviously very smart - not to say that I wasn't learning from him as quickly as he was teaching me, but my intellect is partially attributed to being a feeder, whereas he is just plain human. By the looks of things I will be able to rejoin the course without too many problems. Our coffee extended to dinner, which was also nice. I didn't say why I had been away and he didn't press the issue, for which I'm glad. Apparently he is working at a bar on some nights. Which brings to mind that I should pay him for the tutoring.
Overall, it went well. It didn't feel too uncomfortable to be seeing and talking to a classmate. If I do this a step at a time, I might just be able to blend into the human society.
