I went to Makati alone yesterday..
I was supposed to go to DFA but I had to cancel my appointments due to lack of requirements..
I don't have my birth certificate (CTC) with me,
so I told my parents to send the birth certificate to me within this week.
anyway, I had to begin my story of my adventure in Makati..
It's not actually an adventure anyway...
But I was wandering alone in Metro Manila
thinking about it was like an adventure neh??
Before I left home.
I googled first my destination...
Thanks to Google Map I was able to determine how to commute there,
I have also studied the landmarks
so that I can find easily the place when I get there..
I decided to ride MRT (Metro Rail Transit)
because I think that's the easiest way to reach my destination: Buendia.
besides I don't know where to ride bus and jeep...
So, I headed to EDSA-TAFT station.
There I joined the long queue in the ticket booth.
I was thinking that all of the destinations have the same rate..
but when i looked at their sign boards
I learned that going to Buendia costs 11 pesos..
It was a good thing I still have coins
because they wanted exact fare.
I immediately went inside the MRT after paying..
I was expecting to see high rise buildings during our trip..
but I found out that we were in the underground..
too bad....
I got off the train when I heard the station we stopped by was Buendia.
I was having a hard time exiting..
everyone was also trying their best to go to exit
as other people quickly got on the train
It was suffocating..
when I went out the station..
There I saw hovering flyovers and buildings.
As what others said, it's like we're in abroad..
I was almost lost trying to find the Sen. Gil Puyat St.
Too late to discover that the street I just passed by earlier
was the street I've been looking for...
I came back there
and then.. looking at the building numbers
and trying to follow the instructions from the website..
and then later on, 見つけた
I was hesitant at first..
so I asked first the security guard of the other building
and my hunch was right
I finally reached my destination..
(ご めんね。。.. I can't disclose too much about it here..)
After my appointments there,
I decided to go to AYALA
even though I was having a hard time carrying my bag with heavy books..
I rode again MRT
and upon reaching AYALA.
I was not almost able to get off the train..
I could not move because of the crowd
When I was already outside the station..
I was amazed..
I found
Glorietta mall...
(but I was wondering first with the number beside the name Glorietta..
later i found out that it has 5 buildings.. wooh
)
and SM makati is just beside of it..
I decided to go inside the Glorietta 4..
and there I could see so many high-profile people..
But instead of window shopping, I went to the roof top..
so that I can take a pictures of a little bit of Makati from the top
as I sipped the
chocolate cream chip frappuccino of Star Bucks
Afterwards, I was supposed to go home..
but I found bazaar.. annd they're not ordinary bazaars..
They were bazaars of products which were exported to other countries..
They're not only cheap but they were also high class..
and because of that..
I spent all of my cash on hand..
I had to withdraw from the bdo atm booth at SM.
to buy a gift for my friend..
everything was fine back then..
I already bought all the things i needed..
but when I was about to go home I was starting to feel lost.
I dont know already what to ride..and where to go..
The FX terminal had a long queue
and there are no more vans/fx going to Alabang and Cavite
and the buses were all fully loaded..
I decide to take a cab..
but what the heck.
another long queue..
I have waited for almost one hour just to ride a cab..
when i finally it was my turn..
I quickly get on the taxi and when we reached Baclaran,
I was absent minded
that I forgot the gift I bought for a friend..
I was frustrated
but I could not do anything with it anymore..
I also have to endure standing the whole trip upon going back to Cavite..
it was indeed tiring but ...it was fun..
Thank God, I arrived home safe and sound...
