Not voting is a legitimate form of protest in the face of terrible choices.

Only if all your candidates know why you are not voting.
And it's not the best way to go about solving the problem, IMO.

I agree with you. But also IMO, not playing the game is legitimate.

You could always choose to play the game in a location where there are legitimate races. Perhaps SWMBO could be persuaded?

Yeah. See, that is a real protest vote. Vote to shut it down. The voters here pretty much did that last time around.
