Nikki's sister is here with her 1 yr old daughter Hayley (such a cutie)
Our baby is due any day now... it's great having family here to help.
Elwyn's been a little bit pushy with Hayley, so this might be a bit of a
trial run for the jealousy and sharing issues that could come along soon.
Elwyn is addicted to watching Treehouse in the morning (sometimes CBC kids)
and he has a few favorite movies: Pooh, Shreck, Nemo, George of the Jungle...
right now he's watching Toy Story - finally something he hasn't seen before!
I'm trying to maintain a balance between different aspects of my life.
As a business owner, there's never enough time to do all the things we want to do.
I still fit a little bit of involvement with non-profit societies involves in rural broadband.
There's been not much room for a social life, parenthood takes priority over friendships.
It would be nice to get into some kind of physical activity or sport... but I've been saying that for a while.
Elwyn has a snowboarding movie he likes, and wants us to teach him. So we'll start on a small hill.
Maybe I'll take up curling, or go to the free skate time at the arena a few times...
ok, curling seems more social than athletic - an excuse to get out of the house and have a few beers.
Anyway, I'll keep you all updated as developments arise with the new baby.
