(no subject)
I've recently been rebuilding bridges burnt by myself, and ones that were burnt by my mother. It's been an amazing experience. I'm determined not to have loose ends with people that I disagreed with, I don't want to know that I didn't forgive someone, and still hold it in my heart. Jesus forgave so I could live, and forgive. My mother can't forgive, and can't even spend time with her family, but I put a lot more weight on family, and I refuse to pretend I have none. Family is so important. I'm glad that my aunts have decided to make the first moves I couldn't make myself. I've been invited to a few Jeffers family gatherings, but I injured myself in the car accident before thanksgiving, and theirs coincided with the chubatys at christmas :( and now my Aunt bea has contacted me, and I'm so thrilled with it. It was weird at first, but why not? Why not make contact. There's only one aunt that I haven't spoken to in the last 10 yearsish, and I don't think we will til we have to. I always feel she doesn't like me.
My tuesdays I get to stay home now, it's lovely. I wake up refreshed and get to take care of the house like I can't when we get home at 7 pm. Everyday is beautiful on my farm. Everyday no matter the season, I find beauty in it all. Our trees are very dramatic, and very big, and I love them dearly.
Ken was in Boston last week, it was very sad, and lonely, but I got through it! Nick A came by on Thursday, and saw the farm, we had a "game night" which just about no one showed up to on friday, but it was still fun. Steve stayed the weekend, which was nice. We had to pick up shavings and our truck has been in for transmission fiixings (2000 yikes!) and Ken had the guts to ask Ron for his truck, which he graciously lent us for the few hours. We have the BEST neighbors, we picked flowers up for them and cheryl and paul. It was nice to finally formally visit with cheryl, she has 5 kids! crazy lady!
We saw the deer! Rons been feeding it oats, and thinks he'll regret that plan when spring comes :P
I'm going to go for my walk and finish up my stretches
