The day gig I landed in Oct (right in the middle of walking pneumomia)
was to support a product to be end of lifed sometime in 2022.
They sped up the EOL, so this gig is ending right now.
This came a tad early.
I had splurged and paid off 2 credit cards, but had i known the gig was ending so soon,
I would have taken more time to pay them off.
Im still doing 6 shifts at Amazon at night for 5hrs each.
Last night, I went out to the car to find the battery dead and then unable to remove the key from the ignition.
My theory is that it wasnt quite all the way into park and not totaslly off when i removed the key,
thus killing battery.
Beiung not quite all the way into park, when I inserted the key last night, I couldnt get it out.
Shifter is frozen. Key turns between start on and off (well sort of off) but wont remove.
Interestingly enough, the steering it not locked.
I burned 4hrs of vacation last night becaiuse I couldnt get in.
I should go out in the driveway and try again to get it going.
Good news is that the county called and offered me a free booster if I get in this week.
Meanwhile, I am dealing with incredible stupidity with the job recruiters who call.
Most are more telemarketers than recruiters.
