Party eats
Ok, I haven't posted much of an update on the party, because I realized there wasn't a lot to say about it! For those who have the other details, I will mention that I'm going to try to do a fair bit of cooking for it. South and central Asian, from Sri Lanka to Mongolia and Tibet but centering on India. People are of course encouraged to bring their own munchies if they want to eat something else or just want to show off some yummy dish for others, but if I have the time and energy, there shouldn't be a lot of risk of hunger for the first few hours of things. And yes, with the kids and school and such, that's a big if. Anyone interested in coming over Friday or Saturday morning before the party to help with food prep is more than welcome. Communal cooking is fun!
For those of you who missed the earlier post, game party at my place this Saturday. Noon until people leave (on whatever day they leave!). Bring any games you particularly want to play. Bringing extra guests is welcome, but please try to give me advance warning. And yes, if you're reading this, you're invited.
