ramblings of an off center boy
hello ppls,
Thought i'd update for shit's sake. Just got back from watchin the notebook. It was awesome and i don't give a damn how gay anyone thinks i am. I've been educated on Tupac recently and remembered how much i liked hip-hop before it turned into what it is now. I'm not and would never consider myself a Tupac fan, he got himself shot becos he talked too much shit. But i do like other groups like the roots, jurassic 5, Mos Def, kaleeb kwalim, and others. BEPs used to be good b4 they turned all dance shit. but w/e so was no doubt but whatever, bands need to evolve. Tupac never evolved, Eminem never evolved. So i have no taste for their juvenile shit. I've also begun to note HOLY FUCK as much as me and my friends make fun of emo, we listen to a fair share of it. But w/e i stopped dissin on it maybe like the 90s were known for grunge we'll be known for emo (shudders to think). On the way home i listened to some taking back sunday, i had heard em before but just kinda listening to em in my friends truck. he burned me a cd which i quickkly lost but w/e. i noticed for some odd reason i liked em. usually i'd be like hrmm fuckin bands only playing eighth notes and power chords but fuck music is music. So yea its our music and our time, im gonna embrace what i like and look back sayin holy fuck i listened to that shit. sorry to get sidetracked in my own ramblings. so yea i suppose thats all for now. just thought i'd write some random ramblings in my head. Anyone listen to interpol? I read an interesting article on them, if u do please tell me what album i should start on. My grammar has gone to internet shit.
