Challenged
I spent most of the weekend writing Waiting Up (Jo/Blair), a response to ralst's Halloween challenge, which was 48 hours instead of the usual 24. I have never participated in any of the 24-hour challenges because there is just no way I can write anything in that amount of time. It's nothing short of a miracle that I managed to grind out 1450 words that I'm vaguely satisfied with in just 48. Actually, I had the initial idea (well, more of a partial idea) ages ago but never wrote anything down, and then one of the prompts (urban legends) inspired the rest of the scenario. That was Saturday. Then I spent all Sunday trying to follow through.
Consequently, I've made zero progress on my superlong Jo/Blair story since Thursday, but I have posted the second part at fol_fiction.
