(no subject)
SO I've had a hectic week. We went down to the valley (about a 5 hr drive) on Sunday. My cousin got us tickets to David Copperfield, and we lined up one client on Monday plus I had to do a couple of tax returns for family members so we decided to go down on Sunday. Also I wanted to play in a Texas Hold'em tournament on Monday night that my cousin sometimes plays in so there was that added benefit.
So we drive down, we get the work down we will probably make some money plus we signed him up for our new program which is cool. I did reasonably well in the hold em tourney, only one or two hands I didn't play well and one was b/c I was worried about going bankrupt and everyone was doing 4 X rebuys for $100 and I just didn't have that bankroll
But still I played for 2 hours on $25 and feel good about the fact that I was probably the 2nd best player at the table. I knocked one guy out like 3 times but he kept on rebuying which was frustrating on one hand and cool cause I kept getting his chips.
Tues we went to go see David Copperfield
The show was cool but my wife had the quote of the night when she said "I wish I was either dumb enough to really believe or smart enough to figure it out" but he had some cool tricks and we had fun dissecting how the tricks were done.
Mrs Wook drove home Tues night and we got home at 3 which was great cause I left for El Paso at 7. Drove 8 hrs to El Paso made great time, meet with my clients, played some video poker, then on Thurs I drove to Roswell, NM which is really cool and you must go visit. I didn't have time to check out the town this time but we spent a weekend there in October and it was fun.
Friday I drove to Clovis, NM right on the border of Texas then drove to Lubbock, had a Saturday meeting outside of Lubbock but he didn't show which sucks cause otherwise I would have come home on Friday.
On the way home last night I got this idea that Mrs Wook bought me a TV for valentine's day, which I've been wanting fo ra few months.
Mrs. Wook brings me downstairs to tell me..
We are having another baby.
I then passed out, prior to repeating the words, how why, when are you sure?
